Who is Angel Perez II? I am Angel Perez and this is my first year at California State University San Bernardino. But how did I get here? It has been a long journey throughout the years. I have had to face some tough adversity in my path. I finally made it though, despite all the setbacks, loses, and failures. I am a very unique one of a kind person you will never find someone else like me.

I felt like I didn't stand out anymore. Every time I got an opportunity to play I would seize the occasion and show out. For some reason this wasn't enough to show the coaches how good I am. I was tired of putting in so much work to be benched behind the coaches “favorites”.

Who is Francisco Pizarro: Conquistador is a term that defines the soldiers and explorers of the new world, especially the Spanish Empire. There are many conquistadors before the discovery of the new world. However, in my point of view, the most important and unforgettable conquistador was born between sometime in the 1470s. Francisco Pizarro, Gonzalez, is the Spanish conquistador who was the leader of the expedition of the Inca Empire. Selena the “Queen of Tejano” Selena Quintanilla Perez was the voice for Tejano music or Tex-Mex music (Texan-Mexican music). He was a member of a gang and faced felony charges also struggled with drug addiction. Also Luis has some good things he has done such as work in various countries as a journalist, painted murals, organized against war and racism and ran a cultural center and bookstore in Los Angeles. Juan was was a happy man that died at the age of eighty-three and got happily married. Juan Seguin had one brother and one sister. Juan got his first horse on his twelfth birthday. Juan Seguin was an important person to Texas history in his early lifetime, he was also in three wars and served for Native rights.

Students are taught perfection in school and assume that it is needed for college. This article has changed my views on college by showing me that it’s okay to fail or mess up. Angel B. Perez, Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Pitzer College, explains that finding imperfections in college applications is like “looking for a needle in a haystack”. He states that failure is applauded and cheers when he reads about “defeat and triumph”. Students strive for perfection to a point where it’s difficult for Perez to find any flaws. He constantly reassures the reader that failing is all apart of the process.

My famous person in the 1830’s is Porfirio DIaz. He was a mexican general and then soon became the mexican president at a time. In this essay I will tell you the marvelous life of Porfirio Diaz. He will forever be well known for his great accomplishments. He had a lifespan of 45 long years.

The fifth amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees, among other things, the right of any person accused of a crime to not testify against himself. This amendment has been a part of the U.S. Constitution since 1791. However, it was not until the 1960s that law enforcement were forced to really take this Constitutional Right seriously.

Chef Johnny Hernandez was introduced to the food industry since he was little. He grew up surrounded of the food and restaurant environment. His father owned a restaurant in San Antonio. He and his father oversaw the food preparation, and back of the house operations, while his sister took care of the front of the house operations. As he started to work with his father he grew a passion for the food industry. When it came time for him to further his career, he attended a culinary school in New York. After attending school and graduated he went to work for the Four Seasons and after adding more experience into his career portfolio, he opened one of his first restaurant.
