Besides ten other amusement parks that opened in New York, Luna Park was one of the most famous. Luna Park was a amusement park that was founded by Fred Thompson and Skip Dundy. This amusement park was different because people could go and there was not a fee to enter unless the customers rode a ride. There were other parks that opened in this time frame and due to this, Brooklyn was known as “America 's Playground”. In the 1900s, Luna Park had just opened, it had many attractions, and it made people feel like they just took a trip around the world.
The Swinging Friar should probably be in the Mascot Hall of Fame because he has an amazing and catchy design that makes him a jolly and funny character, he has an amazing impact on the sport of baseball, and is active in the San Diego community. People may think that the Swinging Friar doesn’t have that big of an impact on the sport as the Padres have only gone to the playoffs 8 times since 1958. However, he is featured on a logo of the Padres and has been vital for the team’s success since he debuted in 1958 and he also cheers on all of the Padres games. This has greatly helped San Diego in many ways as he has pumped some of the greatest fans in the world through the Padres’ losing seasons. He has also impacted upcoming stars in the minor

All the excitement starting when Jasper locals Heath Kluemper, Patrick Norris, and Kyle Rupert, approached a Lottery booth while attending a Colts game in Indianapolis. When asked what would be done if they had won, they said they would buy and restore the Astra theater. “We’ve always loved movies, and the Astra is such a staple in the community.
