We are their voice The ASPCA, founded in 1866, was the first humane society created in America. The ASPCA’s ultimate goal is: “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” (ASPCA, “The Mission Statement”).
Animal Cruelty “One cannot look deeply into the eyes of an animal and not see the same depth, complexity and feeling we humans lay exclusive claims to,” stated Nan Sea Love. Just like what Nan Sea Love said, what is in animals is the same that is in humans, it does not mean it is okay to harm animals. So I ask you, people of Elk County, to prevent animal abuse in our cities. Animal cruelty needs to be explained, prevented, and donations need to be made to local human societies.
Abuse and violence never solves anything. Animal abuse is a very serious problem in today's world. The ASPCA is an organization that is against animal abuse, its acronym stands for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The organization is very known for their long, sad, and emotional commercial. Throughout the commercial, it contains the three rhetorical appeals: ethos, logos, and pathos.
The SPCA stands for society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, their goal is to just animals all over the United States. They do many things to help all kinds of animals but the biggest thing that they do is rescue them from cruel owners or terrible living conditions. This organization is a government funded program that is expanding more and more every year. It is the largest humane society in the world and are now starting to go international into more countries like Brazil. They deal with any kind of animal that they may encounter including exotic animals.
How Rodeo Is Not Animal Abuse Do you think that rodeo is a type of animal abuse? In my opinion it is not, just because you are using a animal does not mean you are abusing it. Several organizations think that rodeo is a form of animal abuse because the animals are being kicked with spurs or having a rope around their flank to make them buck.
It’s very difficult to kill another human being, to intentionally end someone’s life with your bare hands in cold blood, and feel the shame, guilt, resentment, and rage take over and trap you in the dark place of your soul. It is difficult to inflict atrocities on other people, cause the emotional break down of another person, and simply live on without the malevolent act you’ve done haunting you for the rest of your life. Killing and cruelty is not something we are born with; it is not part of human nature. So, what can possibly open the doors for brutality and malice to enter the heart of a human? What would allow human beings to overcome the deep natural inhibitions they have against treating each other as game animals?
This nonviolent organization is known as PETA, which stands for the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, and this extremist group was created in 1980 with the goal to establish and defend the rights of all animals. This organization uses the simple principle that animals are not to be abused and the animals are not able to defend themselves against being used for experiments, food, clothing, entertainment or abuse in any other way (All about peta, 2022). PETA has the belief that animals have rights and that the animals deserve to have their best interests taken into consideration. PETA has spoken about the main focus of their goal as a nonprofit organization and that is to accomplish the idea that all beings have rights, which includes humans and nonhumans alike. PETA decided to be nonviolent and is known as a non-violent advocacy organization that continues to maintain their origin of no violent acts against anyone, including human or nonhuman.
5. An animal recognizes its owner then begins to wag their tail. [1 point] 6. If an animal is stressed they won’t be as productive. [1 point] 7.
Animal Cruelty Animals have been on this earth since God first created it. They have lived and walked among men since. But today, it seems that people have started caring less and less for them. There are so many animals on the street without homes, without love, or a family. Animals are being sent to slaughterhouses or taken to the middle of nowhere without the necessities they need to survive.
Animal Cruelty from Food Companies There is nothing more satisfying to American than sinking their teeth into a Big Mac, Chicken Fries, or bacon. This may be a very disturbing image to many people. If it is really thought about, someone will come to the conclusion that that piece of grilled meat in between a bun was once a living thing no matter what animal it came from. Animals are tortured everyday just so humans can have a nice cut of meat.
Animal cruelty has been an unfortunate phenomenon for quite some time. The presence of serial killers among our societies have also been an unfortunate existence as well. Through current studies, researchers have been able to find the connection between serial killers or other violent offenders and it’s correlation to animal cruelty. In the past, the MacDonald triad was viewed as the most reliable avenue for determining who would become a violent offender. Today, more relevant and supported theories have been created.
Animal Cruelty and Captivity Animals kept in zoos aquariums, and circuses are treated poorly by humans and inevitably suffer from disease, pain, starvation, and fear so they will perform seamlessly for the public. Animals are forced by their owners to carry out pointless tricks and performances and are almost always deprived of their normal behavior (Aquariums and Marine Parks). Animals are ripped away from their families and out of their natural habitat by zoo, aquarium, and circus workers and usually do not live their full lifespan due to the mental and physical abuse that comes from the captive place they reside in (Aquariums and Marine Parks). They are injected with various drugs because their unnatural behavior interferes with the entertainment they are meant to perform. Animals do not belong in tanks, cages, or exhibits and should not be treated with such poor care and neglect.
Animal Cruelty Have you ever wondered how much atrocious animal treatments are occurring around the world? The average number of animal abuse cases reported in the media each year is 1,920 according to a study conducted this year by Statistic Brain Research Institute. Moreover, a lot of animals struggle around the globe because they are often beaten, neglected and hunted, which forces them to fight for survival. Helpless animals continue to be exploited by humans and are still constantly being robbed of their lives. Thus, animal cruelty is the killing, exploiting and neglecting the needs of animals that are causing extinction and nonessential suffering.
Animals are being abused everyday and they are not taken into consideration when you see them being abused. They are suffering and they are being abused everyday and you all need to stop it. Animal cruelty is not something that just goes away the person doing it will keep doing it until someone stops them. Everyone needs to stop animal abuse and if everyone starts to make a difference others will to. Animals need help with this and everyone needs to help them.
According to “ASPCA”, “An animal is abused every 10 seconds in this country. ” Also the article, “Number of households in the U.S.,” states, their are 126.22 million households in the U.S.. In addition, according to, “Factoid! Can you guess how many U.S. homes have pets?” explains, 79.7 million households have pets. That 's a lot of animals getting abused!
