Abuse is the most common out of all the the reasons. Animals could be abused for their behavior problems or if their owner has some kind of problem mentally, also some animals are left outside
Another form of animal cruelty is scientists and companies using animals as test subjects. Animal testing is extremely dangerous because the products tested on them are not 100% safe. Dogs, cats and monkeys are examples of test subjects for companies. Animal cruelty does not only affect animals, it affects humans as well. Animals that are abused tend to be aggressive or traumatized and these animals can lash out at any human at any given time.
As it is evident in the way it is in current society, this is not even making a dent in the epidemic that is animal abuse. I believe that animal abuse should be treated as seriously as domestic or drug abuse. There should be counselors coming from school to school talking about the preciousness of every animal alive. We need to make sure none of our fellow classmates grow up to do these kind of things to animals. And if they do, we need to have a more serious prison sentence.

Animal cruelty is a global issue that is increasing day by day in our today’s society. Animals are being beaten and are hurtled by hunters and slaughters every day and millions of poor animals die due to cruelty. There are a wide variety of animal cruelty; some of the most common types of animal hurting that is seen in scientific research is; Killing, and mistreatment. When we think about animals been hurtled in our society, we think of the dogs and cats that are beaten and killed… Animal cruelty can take many different forms.

Animal abuse usually goes hand in hand with domestic violence; In an abusive home the pet will often be used by the abuser as ways to manipulate and take advantage of the victim’s concern by threatening to harm the animal to stop the victim from reporting the incidence.
