George Orwell 's novel Animal Farm is a “Book that immediately established itself in the reader’s imagination” according to New York Times. Animal Farm reflects the events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917. In Animal Farm Napoleon represents Joseph Stalin, Leon Trotsky represents Snowball, and Farmer Jones represents Czar Nicholas II.
