Animated Cartoon Movie Animated cartoon will always be my favourite movies of all the times. Besides Hollywood cartoon, I also enjoy watching the local production like Upin & Ipin. For some reasons, our local cartoons can bring back my old, nostalgic memories of living in a village. There are numerous reasons why I love this movie genre. First, watching cartoon movies acts as my stress boosters because everything is possible and beyond my imagination. It helps me to release my pressure by enjoying the cuteness and the funny side of each character and also by laughter. Laughter is the best medicine, yes it is true when you can laugh together with family or friends. Second, I love the idea of animation movies because I can unleash my inner child character. Having strong characters is one of the most essential features of this movie. Moana herself is a great role model, demonstrating perseverance, bravery, and courage as a female. In addition, great voice casting by Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) and Dwayne Johnson (Maui) is just the perfect combination since the voice suit the characters well. Moreover, memorable music and songs are also the strengths that not every animation movie can offer its audience. The theme song, How Far I’ll Go has won many prestigious awards such as Academy Award for Best Original Song, Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, MTV Movie Award for Best Musical Moment and Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Song. Furthermore, Moana is a non-Disney princess movie and therefore it is quite different compared to other Disney movie. This movie also is romance free, which makes it suitable for the entire family, including children under the age of 13 to watch it. Last but not least, it contains countless educational values and positive messages about life that can ne exemplified by the young adults
