Anna (Bonus) Kingsford (1846-1888) is an outstanding figure in the annals of esoteric and mystical thought. She wrote works of deep insight and lasting value in the esoteric field. She lifted the veil of illusion which orthodox Christianity has thrown over the eternal wisdom. Anna helped establish Theosophy in England in the 1880's. She was a woman of exceptional talents in other fields also: a medical practioner, a campaigner for women's rights and for vegetariansim, an ardent opponent of vivisection, and writer.Despite the ill health that plagued her short life, Anna made impressive contributions for the betterment of humans and animalkind.

Helen Jewett was born in Temple, Maine on October 18, 1883. Helen's mother died while she was still a child and her alcoholic father soon followed her to the grave. With no parents or guardians that could watch over her, Helen was orphaned and later adopted by a local judge who provided her with a good family and education. Helen also worked as a servant during her stay with the family and after growing into a beautiful young woman, she developed sexual assertiveness and was rumored to be involved with a banker in a scandalous affair. After Helen's 18th birthday, she moved out of the house and began working as a prostitute in Portland, Maine.
Isabella Baumfree, now known as Sojourner Truth, was born into slavery in 1797, though her birthdate was not recorded. Isabella Baumfree protested when John Dumont , Isabella Baumfree 's previous owner whom she ran away from, sold her son, Peter, to a family in Alabama. Two white lawyers, whom we don 't know the name of, in New York gave Baumfree free legal help and liberated Peter through the courts. Sojourner Truth moved to Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1857 and became active there helping black people escape on the Underground Railroad to freedom.
Annie Jean Easley was born April 23, 1933 to Mary Melvina Hoover and Samuel Bird Easley, in Birmingham Alabama. She was raised, along with her older brother, by a single mom. Annie attended schools in Birmingham and graduated high school valedictorian of her class. Throughout high school Annie wanted to be a nurse because she thought that the only careers that were open to African American women at the time were nursing and teaching and she definitely did not want to teach so she settled on being a nurse but as she studied in high school she began thinking about becoming a pharmacist.

This statement is a description of Anne Hutchinson, an outspoken individual from the seventeenth century. Born in England, Anne Hutchison was the daughter of a minister and became well-versed in the Bible. At a young age, she gained important wisdom from others, which she let influence the rest of her life. Regardless of not having an education, Anne became a very bright and opinionated woman.
No she did not directly save millions of lives, nor did she spark a revolution or discover the theory of gravity. What she did, was inspire, she became a symbol of hope, and without hope we are lost. Her diary entries show us how to open ourselves up to love and move forward through such destructiveness. It shows us that no matter what may be happening around you, there will always be something to be thankful for, and that the only thing that you are guaranteed in life is yourself. As long as you never loose your hope, no one can take that away from you.

She was born September 25th, 1948 in Yakima, Washington. She started as a fashion advisor and then moved to New York to study art at NYU. After a happenstance in 1980, Colleen ended up with a job as a Production Assistant for Ragtime.
By the age of six, Anna had mastered all the language that she had been taught. When she was old enough, her parents allowed her to pursue a classical education at Warrington Academy, where her father was a tutor. In addition to learning Greek and Latin, Anna also developed a great love for poetry and spent much time writing. She had many of her poems and prose printed at the Warrington Press, alongside the writings of John Howard, Thomas Roscoe, and Dr. Jerriez. Anna developed deep and lifelong friendships with Joseph Priestly, a scientist and religious philosopher, and his wife Mary.

Aileen was accused of killing seven men with a 0.22 caliber gun. She did this by hitchhiking and prostituting herself along many highways in central Florida. Aileen’s family was not ideal.
Without Ann’s early experiences as a teacher, she wouldn’t have had as much motivation to teach medicine later in life. To further her education she apprenticed herself to a Quaker doctor named Nathaniel R. Moseley and began teaching health and hygiene classes. In the early 1840s she began teaching physiology and hygiene to all-female classes. Her view was to educate women about their bodies. In 1849, Ann applied to various medical colleges but was turned down consistently based on gender.

Daughter of Mary Ann Nichols and Arthur Uddin married for 35 years. She had a really bad childhood to say the least, she already knew her life was going to be miserable at a young age. Her father tried to spoil her but he was never home he was always on business trips away from Whitechapel.
