In “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Readers” by Kavitha Rao, she express her opinion on the topic that the current generation is not reading for fun. She mentions several experience she had with other people, that don 't see the benefit in reading for fun. She says that since people aren 't reading more leisure anymore they 're becoming less creative, inarticulate, have poor communication skills and low confidence, which is caused by parents forcing their kids to read, and the education system need to have students memorize textbooks and nothing else. After reading this article I find myself disagreeing with Rao on several points she made, I don’t believe the modern attitude towards reading is causing people to be self absorbed and unimaginative, she also claims that book clubs don 't encourage reading for fun, parents are forcing their children to read boring books which turned them away from reading and that the educational system is to blame for college students for being inarticulate.
In exchange for the strong accountability, No Child Left Behind gives states more flexibility in the use of their federal funding. As a result, principals and administrators have more time to devote to students’ needs and spend less time dealing with government forms. They have more freedom to be innovative and give resources as they are needed; thereby giving parents a greater opportunity to decide what schools need which programs. There has been a lot of controversy about No Child Left Behind. Teachers, schools, educational organizations and even some states have come forward and said that No Child Left Behind to be ineffective, not working, and overall flawed for many different reasons.

When the kids get older they may not be able to get the robots, so they might not know how to do basic things when they own a home. The house they live in now gives them everything they want and as you see in the quotes above, the son is very disrespectful towards his parent.

I know it is important for you to have your teenager help around the house, go to school and have a good attitude. It is also important to many parents to have their children be happy and to do this they buy them expensive gifts, vacations and family outings which the parent believes the teenager desires to have. By not finding out what is actually important for the teenager and then trusting in them enough to earn it on their own, the teenager actually feels like they are being bought and they begin to doubt in their own abilities. Worse yet, the brain develops in a welfare system mentality and they never learn the skills on their own to maintain the lifestyle you offer when they become an
