Anna’s uncle died a few yeas before that, but they never found the body or figured out who had killed him. The town had always had suspicions about her aunt killing her own husband because she didn’t want all of the extra investigation and she didn’t want anything done to find him. Anna went back and her aunt who is a psychic is extremely welcoming at first, but then turns psycho herself. Anna just wants to have a normal summer and make friends and have a spectacular time, but her aunt seems to get in the way. Zach is always talking to Anna’s aunt which Anna found very suspicious meaning she didn’t want to find out what happened to her husband. Anna’s aunt is also always being secretive and avoids Anna at certain times of the day: “Hey, Aunt Stephanie, Aunt Stephanie it’s me Anna. I was going to ask you something, but it seems that you have somewhere else to be. Where are you going in such a hurry? (Chandler 75). Anna always saw her coming home really late at night ad the first thing she did was talk to Zach; it made Anna feel they had a plan of some sort. Zach also seems to know Stephanie with out a doubt. Anna asked him a question to prove that their knowing was further than just being neighbors. Some of the things Zach knew Anna didn’t. She felt extremely weird about everything he knew. Zach also has had some suspicious behavior. He never lets Anna go into town. He makes sure that if she needs anything that she tells her aunt before she leaves in the morning. Anna has asked on several occasions on why she can’t go into town and every time she gets told that she doesn’t have to because Stephanie does everyday. Anna knew there was a little bit more to it than that because she started sneaking out when she would normally be showering and saw Zach with Aunt Stephanie running errands together. Whenever Zach and Anna are outside he never goes in the back; One day Anna started venturing towards the back and he started telling her things she should do in the house to surprise her aunt and to make her pleased. Anna was curious about what was in the backyard, so she went to the back of the house and looked out a window, where she saw a shed with a gathering of locks on it. She found it ominous. She questioned to herself what could be in the shed or why is it locked, but never does she want to ask her aunt or Zach. Those are some
Now, if Jays possible motive is looked at, there is actual substance. It is mentioned over the course of the season several times that Jay really really loved his girlfriend, Stephanie. It is said that, “through all the craziness, she was his amazingness,” as cheesy as that sounds. She was a huge part of him. It is also well known that Adnan was really close friends with Stephanie.
In the story, Sarah Koenig interview one of Hae’s friends and she explains that, “I think it was probably mostly normal, but things that, like, he kinda just always generally annoyed me, because, just the constant paging her if she was out, um, and he’s like, “Well I just wanted to know where you were.” And it’s like, “I told you where I was gonna be.” Um, if she was at my house, and we were having a girls night, he would stop by, like he would walk over and try to come hang out, and its just like, “Have some space!” Um, and it’s one of those things, at first it’s like, “Oh! It’s so cute!
She finally told Eric what happened but it took years of them being friends for her to finally trust her enough to tell him what actually happened. Sarah Byrnes is unheard as her whole life she has had to lie about what happened so her father wouldn’t kill her. I believe that Steve Ellerby would be described as mellow. I believe this because he usually does whatever he wants without any care of what he is doing. When Eric called him to pick of sarah from the hospital he did not care and just went along with it, “He pulled up besides up, glanced stealthily both ways before leaping out to open the back door.
In the story “Ashes”, the main character Ashleigh is told to steal her mom’s money by her dad. Ashleigh's parents are divorced, causing her dad to have financial issues. Ashleigh’s dad asked her to steal her mom’s rainy day money to help her dad have a“fresh start”. Ashleigh didn’t take the money though, she kept thinking her mom would find out, she knew the consequences of stealing, and there were other ways to help her dad out. Ashleigh kept thinking her mom would find out, she kept trying to change the topic with her dad and didn’t want her mom to ever figure out, “Mom’ll be home soon…”
Because she doesn't want anyone knowing her family is less than perfect, she has trouble talking about her sons. Whenever Beth and her husband Calvin were at a dinner party, they put on their smiling faces and talked about the neighborhood drama. At one point Beth overheard Calvin talking to one of their friends about Conrad visiting a psychiatrist. She quickly came over to end the conversation. After that party, she told Calvin that she did not discuss him telling people about her sons illness.
It could not be anyone from her family since they did not leave too long ago. Connie went to the front door and realized it was the same guy she saw a few nights ago watching her. He believed that him and Connie were “in love” and meant to be together. He continued to be very persistent with getting Connie in his car. He said he was not going to leave her house until she got in the car.
Annabeth’s week got harder when the Stolls, the near identical sons of Hermes named Travis and Conner, decided to prank Percy. Usually, she would have stopped them, but she was too busy reading a new book to notice. Annabeth got really into books; a bomb could go off right outside and she wouldn’t notice. She also hated to be interrupted. Those two facts were why there were almost three murders that evening.
If I had to guess, I think that something happened at the party that caused Sophie to befriend her. It was right after the party that they no longer talked, so it had to be that Annabel did something with Sophie’s boyfriend that made her extremely mad. It seemed uncanny to me that the author would leave out such an important part of the plot line. This is one of the questions that I had while reading Dessen’s Just Listen.
That morning they both got into a fight and as she was driving away, Noah was yelling at
How would you feel if your sister went to a camp and never came back? Would you wonder what happened, why it happened, or even who is responsible for it happening? Jenny the main character in the book was very curious on what happened with her sister Liza. Her sister Liza went to a drama camp in Wisteria. Liza isn’t one to follow all the rules and snuck out one night and ended up getting murdered.
Anna needs to sit and talk with donna as to why she did what she had done even if that isn't like something anna would do. Donna is someone who feels lesser and always wanted to be like anna popular pretty etc. Donna lacks confidence and doesn't feel like she can be that so she decides to lie to anna and talk behind her back but only because anna was mean to her and didn't really give her the light of day or sympathy or any other form of feelings beside a tiny bit of friendship. Donna's boyfriend didn't even really like her he more liked anna and anna's boyfriend liked her but she liked the teacher.
A bright Summer day the Summer day the Lewis family decided to move to Sacramento, CA. The reason they moved from their home town of Carson City, NV was because they have experienced strange things happening in there house from hell. There was constantly stuff happening. Doors flying open and shut, voices, footsteps. Nothing never stayed where you put it.
In each chapter it switches between Tessa and Hardin's point of view. If you’ve ever gotten in a verbal fight you know that it’s always best to know both sides of the story and that’s exactly what Anna Todd does. Hardin explains that he loves Tessa in his chapters but he never tells Tessa until the end of the book. Tessa talks about Hardin like he’s a king in her chapters. Hardin obviously doesn’t deserve Tessa, he’s put her through unspeakable things and yet she still continues to love him.
He went outside and the street was bare. There were no people on the street. My mom. Jake ran back inside and went straight to the phone
