The Diary of Anne Frank ends on August 1, 1944, because the August 4, 1944 when they were finally found. The Gestapo arrested all the occupants and took them to various concentration camps. After remaining for a time in the concentration camps of Westerbork and Auschwitz, Anne and her older sister, Margot, were deported to Bergen-Belsen, where both died during a typhus epidemic because of the unhygienic conditions in which were between late February and mid-March 1945. “I've reached the point where I hardly care whether I live or die. The world will keep on turning
“ You can 't throw…? Something they branded you with…? That they made you wear so they could spit on you?” (Hackett, 111). This clearly shows that Peter is angry about having to wear the star of David, he absolutely despises the Nazis because they branded him with something so others could spit on him and make fun of him just because of his culture and way of life. The Nazis also affected others way of life in the annex.
Germany needed a scapegoat for all the struggles they were facing and Hitler used stereotypes to give the German people a scapegoat. Ignorance clouded the judgment of the German people. Ultimately the Jews would pay the price while the world was oblivious of the crimes against humanity which the Nazis committed. Elie Wiesel is stuck in dark times for people of his ethnicity. Nazis felt that the Jewish people were inferior.
However, some may say that writing and keeping records may have never seen the light of day. If we didn’t have written records then it would make it harder for them to believe and understand what these people had to go through. Hitler's ultimate goal was to get rid of all jews, as you can see he didn't reach his goal. And a big part of that is because of passively active
During the witch trials and the Holocaust, it is obvious that many people were unfairly judged.Giles corey’s wife was Giles said his wife was “so taken with books” [...] “but it were no witch I blamed her for” (40). For the duration of the Holocaust, Jews and other non-pure Germans were killed without any consent. If you wore the Star of David, you were already associated as “dead”, “gone”, or “executed” and you had a slim chance of survival. These persecutions depicted how morally corrupt people were like the ministers in charge of the village or in the case of the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler and others who followed his Nazi
“They also left a bitter legacy of religious hatred behind them.” This reputation shows them to be gruesome knights. The Crusaders also “-sometimes turn their fury to Jews…” This is important because it supports the fact that they lost attention. They fought for their religion, but was blinded by fury. Their fury turned into victims that shouldn’t be abused. Like Document one said, they attacked Jews.
Before events such as deportation to Auschwitz, German and Polish morals had already begun to weaken. The Nazi's used propaganda to ensure that the image of the Jewish community was a negative one. By making people like Vladek wear the Star of David, the party was able to completely dehumanize the Jews. Their association with evil allowed for the swaying and comprised Polish and German morals. This complete dismissal of ethical behavior demonstrates the truth of the current fragility of morals in these communities.
He didn 't understand why people weren 't nice to him even though he was nice to them. The creature was mad and angry at Victor and decided to take his anger out on his family and killed every single one of them. Victor says “ He showed unparalleled malignity and selfishness, in evil: he destroyed my friends; he devoted to destruction beings who possessed exquisite sensations, happiness, and wisdom; nor do I know where this thirst for vengeance may end.”Victor was furious and wanted to destroy the creature once and for all. They both did very awful things to each other. Another similarity is that both wanted to do good for mankind.
We all know that Jewish people were the main targets in the Holocaust, but not many people know that other groups and races. Some groups that were killed are but not limited to: disabled people, LGBTQIA+ people, Roma Gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Polish People and people of African descent. While Jewish people should be recognized for their struggles, so should every other group. Disabled People Hitler didn’t want to have any disabled people in Nazi Germany. He thought that they were too much work and overall useless to society.
Hitler also changed the jewish religion by killing jews and making them look bad and also causing them to switch religions by causing fear into them. Hitler also changed how Germans and Swastikas are looked at because of all of WWII and Killing jews in many countries that were in Nazi or German control. Adolf Hitler made steps to change Germany and here are some ways. Why did Adolf Hitler make Jewish people non-citizens? The reason why he did not
