Introduction In this essay i´m going to talk about the conflicts of two stories that I pick. A conflict is to come into collision or disagreement; be contradictory, at variance, or in opposition. I´m going to talk about two stories that are “The Diary of Anne Frank” and the other story that is “The Fault in our Stars”. I pick “The Diary of Anne Frank” because I think that it is a very interesting story that explains how was the life of Anne in times of war. And the other story because I personally think that it was a very good story and has a really good point of view of the situation. It affects Anne in her daily life because she used to live in a normal house around all her family and now she lives in a very little space between two houses, and it affects her, because when she had a good house now she lives in a little space with all her big family and it is really uncomfortable. The behavior of Anne Frank in the situation is really positive because no matter what she always see the things in a good way, like for example when they had to move to the little house she sees it not like a hiding place, more like a little home that they make them feel more close to her family and also look it like in that place all her family will be safer than in the other house they were before. They don't need to have best response to the conflict because Anne has a really good response, well the family need to calm down a little because they have to be more like Anne because she is really positive with the situation and has a very good response to the conflict, so the family needed to have more calm and be more positive like
Anne Frank Compare and Contrast The Diary of Anne Frank takes place Amsterdam, Netherlands. In the book Anne and her family are Jews in World War II. Because of the oppression of the Jews, Anne and her family are forced to go into hiding. Anne, her mom Edith, her dad Otto, her sister Margot, Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, Peter Van Daan, and Mr. Dussel.
The Diary of Anne Frank Anne Frank and her family are Jews, and we all know how Hitler doesn’t like Jews, so Anne and her family went into hiding. They went to this small place called the “Secret Annexe” above an office building. There are times in the day where no one can move around or make a noise. Anne has a diary that she “talks to”. Everyone in the “Secret Annexe” thinks that Anne is just a baby and treats her like one.
During World War II, the German Reich marched across the entire continent of Europe. During the Holocaust, many people became discouraged and lost hope in the future of society. However, the excerpts from “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl,” written by herself, and “Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler’s Shadow” by Susan Campbell Bartoletti, prove that being positive and persevering is the best thing that someone can do. Whether hiding from the Nazis or already taken by them, the best response to have during conflict and chaos is maintaining a positive outlook on life and to persist through difficult times.
Going into hiding immensely changed her life. There were many differences between living in the Annex and living how they used to, but there were some similarities. Anne didn’t necessarily like the new way of life, but she tried her best to stay positive and make the best of it. Many things
Conflict Anne Frank Anne has an external conflict because Mr. Van Daan is always telling her to be like her sister. Mr. Van Daan Mr. Van Daan has an external conflict because he has problems with the people looking for his family, the Franks, and himself. Mr. Frank Mr. Frank has an external conflict because, like Mr. Van Daan, he is facing problems with people looking for him. Mrs. Van Daan Mrs. Van Daan has an external because she doesn’t really like Anne falling in love with her son.
In this book report I will talk about the story “The diary of Anne Frank” the story is about a Jew girl called Anne who lived with her family in Germany in the second world war when a new German president called Adolf Hitler came with the idea that all Jew people were dangerous ; so her dad Otto Frank who worked in a bank came with the idea of moving to Amsterdam, Holland to be safer from the German army called the Nazis. Anne was a little girl who lived with her family: Otto Frank her dad, Margot her sister and Edith her mom. For her birthday in June 12 her father gave her a diary were she wrote everything that happened. Days later bad news came, a new German president called Adolf Hitler came with the idea that all Jew people is dangerous
It gave information which is important to modern day society and how it runs. It also taught people that no matter how bad the situation you should always have hope because it could be the only thing that keeps you from going insane with worry or depression caused by thinking about all of the bad thing that could happen to you or your family. Anne Frank stayed hopeful even when the odds weren’t exactly in her favor. She found a way to change all the bad situations into something better. What people should take away from this story is to always have hope and never let anyone or anything take it from you.
Introduction In this book report I am going to talk about “the diary of Anne Frank”. The genre of these story is non fiction. What it says in these book actually happened during the 2nd World War in the Frank’s secret annex when Anne was hidding with her family and the Vaan Daans to not get caught by the natzis . This is such an exiting story of a young girl telling us how horrible was the world in that time, how Jews were horribly treated and disccriminated , and it also show us to value all the things we have , the most important thing about this book is that we have to take care of the most important thing on the world that is our live.
This story is abut a girl that was writing her daily days while she was in the holocaust She was venting her fears and frustrations, and contemplating her everyday life. She was given the diary as a present from her parents in 1942, and named it Kitty. Through her diary writing, Anne Frank was in many ways her own counsellor in a time of great suffering and tribulation. She realized that writing down her thoughts and feelings could help her cope with the anxiety of the war and Nazi persecution.
Book Report Ms. Peggy French English 10A December 17 2015 The Diary of Anne Frank Book Report “The Diary of Anne Frank” is a diary written by a young Jewish girl named Anne Frank. She wrote this diary while in hiding with her family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. This diary, which was originally written in Dutch was translated into 60 languages.
Anne is a girl around the age of 12-15. She is a Jewish girl with her Jewish family. She and her family are caught in the middle of the holocaust. She is in hiding from the Nazis, because if the Nazis do manage to find her she will be taken to a concentration camp. She is in a world, which seems to have no hope or freedom; but if you look closely, it’s everywhere.
Anne Frank was an adolescent girl that document her experience during the Holocaust. Anne was a Jew and during this duration Jews were treated crudely. She went into hidding to stay unassailable. During this time her only friend was her diary "Kitty". "Kitty" was her only friend that made her feel appropriate to express her feeling and emotion about everything.
Anne Frank’s Character Development Throughout the War Throughout World War II Anne Frank was kept hidden away in a 500 square foot building they came to call the Secret Annexe. Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Daans endured difficult times of hunger, thirst, and lack of privacy cornered by walls for over two years. Anne confided her observations and feelings of the hard times within her diary she named Kitty. By writing in her diary both before and after the war, one could visibly notice how Anne went into the Annexe as a juvenile and came out as a young adult.
In what we have been reading about the main conflict is the Holocaust. I am going to be talking a little more on what happened in The Diary of Anne Frank but not fully so. During the Holocaust there were these people named Nazis and they would take Jews and send them to concentration camps. The way the Jews would try to avoid being captured was the Jews would find places to hide and they would be Completely silent so that they would not get caught. I don't think that was the best thing to do
The anchor text for this unit will be The Diary of Anne Frank. The goal for this unit is for students to connect with Anne Frank’s experience and through her writing gain a deeper understanding of the variety of diverse perspectives that inform the world. Students will also explore how the Holocaust experience, that individuals such as Anne endured, serves as reason of the need for equal human rights for all. The primary text of the unit, The Diary of Anne Frank, along with excerpts from Ashes by Kathryn Lasky and The Thaw by Primo Levi will introduce students to the global competency of recognizing perspectives.
