Anne Frank was a German teenage girl who wrote a diary of her life during World War 2. She was famous for the diary that she kept from June 1942 to August 1944. Her diary became a war literature. She was born in 1929 and she got her diary when she was 13. She usually wrote her thoughts and feelings about hiding from the Nazis. She died in 1945 from typhus. To keep Anne’s father, Otto Frank to lose his business, he told his two Christian workers officially sign the ownership of the company to Victor Kugler and Johannes Kleiman. This apartment has a front door which is concealed by a moving bookcase, with the help of Mr. Kugler 's idea and Mr. Voskuijl’s carpentry work. It would give the Franks a better chance of not being found, and make the Nazis never suspect a thing. The Annex was fairly large, had multiple rooms/a full kitchen, and was accustomed to fit two families which would later on be useful for their time in hiding. After a week in hiding, the Van Pels joined the Franks in hiding.
