Firstly, Information Security positions are expected to grow in the future. Secondly, the median wage is approximately $92,000 which, makes this a desiring field for some. Thirdly, a large percentage of employees in the information and cyber security field hold a Bachelor’s Degrees or higher. Fourthly, due to the complexity of the field, some positions will require additional certifications to be acquired in order to be gainfully employed.
