Society is a dangerous and ruthless beast. A person’s wish to belong in society can ultimately be their demise to not only their financial stability but as well as their social status which is ironic, for the actions they take to belong only further separate them from society. These actions are particularly common amongst poor folks as they wish to be a part of society, but their poor financial decisions to spend all their earnings on exquisite items only drags them further away from society’s acceptance. In Tressie McMillan Cottom’s Reading, “The Logic of Stupid Poor People”, She describes her life as an African-American child born into a poor family who were able to manage their funds wisely and live comfortably while families similar to her’s, but to only manage to dig themselves into deep and unforgiving caverns of financial debt. I agree, for I have witnessed many cases of poverty stricken people drag themselves further into financial debt all for useless status symbols.

This phrase illustrates the uttermost betrayal by a confidant in the English speaking world. Being ‘stabbed’ once from behind has been enough for us to judge the person’s moral quality. In the animation “The Fly” by Ferenc Rofusz lasting approximately three minutes, a fly gets stuck in a house on an autumn day. This animation incorporated beautiful images and a wonderful message to it’s viewers. When getting shown in class it really stuck me how a video about a bug with no dialogue could get me so emotional and that 's what I think is so wonderful about it. First and foremost, Ferenc Rofusz is portraying way more than a fly in this animation. The deeper meaning to this piece of art is to force the viewer to see through the eyes of someone or something else.

At the beginning of this semester as I started the MFCC program I felt scared and intimidated. I felt intimidated because I had no idea what to expect from the program. Once I learned what fishbowl was the thought of doing fish bowl frightened me. Just thinking of how I would get criticized and having people looking at me gives me anxiety.

Humanity in the past, present and future is layered. Within this layered structure, there exists extreme variety and difference. However, one thing that seems to exist constantly in every crevice or aspect involving the interacting of human beings is the idea of being part of a culture. Culture is often considered difficult to explain but ultimately it can be defined if it fulfills certain requirements. Culture exists as a grouping of values that are continuously taught with a degree of precision and organised teaching of such through various channels.

Within this essay, I will be describing how the helping relationship is initiated by covering ethical concerns, boundaries of the relationships, equal opportunities and confidentiality. I will also be explaining how relationship is developed. In counselling, the client and the counsellor both work together in order to help the client. When entering into a counselling relationship, it is vital that the counsellor opens him or herself into an empathic experience, of the hopes, fears and doubts of the client. The counsellor also brings to the service, an empathic, non judgemental understanding and a professional approach to the service.

General Roscoe Robinson Born October 11, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to Roscoe Sr and Lillie Brown. Roscoe Senior was a Steel worker and Lillie was a Homemaker. Roscoe was a graduate of Sumner High School in 1946, where he was the class president. After high school Robinson wanted to join the military but was not old enough to be drafted. Roscoe decided to attend St. Louis University for one year and then from there he attended West Point Military academy in New York.
