STATEMENT OF INTENT

The view of a continuous line of window panes which stood like trees in an avenue often nudged my mind to reconsider what previously seemed quite obvious – is it possible to become an Architect who can proudly autograph the skyline of a city someday? And Yes, I did. Architecture was a natural choice for me than a career option. The joy of integrating Arts, Math and Functionality to a building gave me so much thrill. I always urged my acute imagination into designing buildings like the way Frank O Gehry, Kenzo Tange did. Most commoners disregard architecture as a form of just art or just lines drawn on a piece of paper. I find it disheartening to learn that most of the buildings in India are not disable friendly. Autism is a developmental disorder and along with it, most pupils suffer from physical disability, sight and hearing impairments & have difficulties in accessing curriculum and the environment than those who are not. My objective was to create easy accessibility, better infrastructure and serene environment for the children. My design also focused on various sustainable design concepts. My thesis was well appreciated by the jury members who practice as eminent architects in India.
During my Practical training in B.Arch. with RSP design consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd in Gurgaon. We worked on the mixed - use development along with by Foster + Partners, London. It comprised of Grand Hyatt Hotel, Office tower, Grand Hyatt residential and High street. I gained practical experience and abilities that cannot be learned in the university. I also learnt about the use of dry walls and how futuristic apartments and hotels can be constructed over a limited span of
