Why is homelessness such a huge issue in the world? Many homeless people have mental illnesses and it is not easy for them to restart their lives and get a job. Many of them also have drug or alcohol problems, which makes it very difficult to get a long term job making enough income to support themselves. Homeless people need help getting off the streets but are unable to do it by themselves. Homelessness is a very huge problem that America has come to face.
These two arguments are that homeless people have done or are doing things that society sees as morally unacceptable and that homeless people have received help from their social community and have not made efforts to make connections. These assumptions often give people a negative outlook on the homeless people, to which many people treat them as second class citizens. The homeless are also abused physically and verbally, by people who assume that their asking of assistance is an affront to the person at hand. This has created a bad stigma against the homeless population, who are often feared and even seen as and treated like
Kids and adults are often left alone or kicked out of there homes. I want to help the children, adults, and any other person that is homeless, that is the biggest accomplishment that I want. The children who have no family are mostly the ones that are homeless. There are many reasons to why a kid could have no home. Many kids in other counties are left alone or with relatives, but maybe they have to be left because their parents had to go find a better job or because they needed to find better living

If a person has one or more of these problems, they may find it difficult to manage the home they are in or it may lead to other problems such as losing job and inability to pay mortgage/rent or relationship breakdown and have to leave the home. Generally it is a combination of these factors that result in a person becoming homeless. Homeless youth are always dealing with poor nutrition, victimization, substance use, and abuse. Unfortunately the services provided are very limited and cannot help a huge chunk of the homeless youth. Homeless youth experience more substance abuse and drug addiction than non-homeless youth, this causes them to be mentally unstable and unable to be a functioning member of society. There are many temporary services provided such as shelters, drop-ins, meal programs, literacy improvements, and counselling programs; although these are available and there to help the youth, they are all flawed in their own ways. What the government does not take into consideration is the long term solutions to put youth in poverty to an end.
Homeless Homelessness is a major key issue that has been on our island for more than a decade. It hasn’t come to the point yet that it would get solve or anything. Many of our government officials does not clearly know where they are heading due to the twist and turns that they have been. Blaming the homeless is clearly not the issue but not really having to identify that it is the government that is creating this problem to be a more bigger and heated issue. If only they set aside a time to experience what they are going through, if only they look in the bigger picture, instead of building a rail that would only help a quarter of the population, if only they were able to empathize more --- I would go on from here but it is the ‘if only’ and the ‘what if’ that could have made a difference then we, [the people] would not have to go through this controversial.

Without this support system, it is easy to fall behind in tuition payments and academic performance. Even if employed full time, many students cannot afford the rising tuition costs and frequently drop out of college due to lack of funding. Many colleges are unwilling to approve financial aid packages unless a student can show that they are independent of parental support, and require documentation proving this. Some educators and others have outspokenly protested financial aid being offered to students that are struggling with academics. One such educator is Jackson Toby, Professor of Sociology Emeritus at Rutgers University.
