You would think it’s helping with their situation, that it’s changing their perspective while helping them find ways it could have been solved, but some kids don’t think of the solution in the blink of an eye. When kids get suspended, all they’re thinking about is a few days off from school. But not anymore, even though some kids may rethink the dilemma they had gotten themselves into, most of the times that’s not the case. Here are a few things that happen when we suspend kids, and a few things that would be helpful instead of suspending these children. When children are suspended over and over, they are most likely to drop out.
When the employee has finished, and the customer is upset, the teacher will defend their student by saying, “you wanted bangs, you were given bangs,” instead of refunding the haircut because the student missed a key step in the services rendered. Although suspending students could be a good solution to a problem for a couple of days there could be a misunderstanding and a child could be punished without anybody knowing the story. School suspensions should be abolished for most occasions and other options should come into play to help the students, teachers and parents figure out the problem and the solution. If teachers would stop just handing out suspensions the students could talk to somebody and figure out the whole story, also If suspensions would decrease the number of student dropouts would decrease greatly and most kids would get a good education and a high school diploma, If students just got suspended after every time they did something bad it would increase the likelihood of something similar happening again. Also, If teachers stopped handing out suspensions it would help the students greatly by letting them tell the whole story and letting the adult know what exactly happened instead of jumping to conclusions and punishing the students.

Today, there still lots of influences, even though roadblocks hold me back and make me do bad decision’s. During school it might be boring to do work but at the end we all learn new things. Also, many of us get lectured from our parents about a bad grade or a poor decision, but after middle school or high school the advice pays off to know about. Even though, lots of people know what they did and might be honest with the choice they made and that will help them with avoiding the roadblocks of knowing they were lying to the parent. When these students plagiarize others work they render themselves unable to truly understand the material. The purpose of going to school is to prepare students for life and give them the necessary knowledge they need to succeed. The punishment serves as a reminder of those facts and helps students come to realize that cheating hinders your education.
