Currently at the Dining Commons, there is a general policy which prohibits students from bringing in either outside food or drinks. This over placed policy infringes on the rights of the students as the policy prevents students from dining together with their classmates who simply crave to eat outside food at a common dining table. Furthermore, the Dining Commons losses out on potential customers by preventing outside influence on the restaurant. Potential customers consist of those with food allergies, those with other restaurant’s food, and those who wish to bring in a diet-friendly drink to aid their workout regimen. While the Dining Commons does offer “No Whey!”, which provides students with allergies a safe dinning alternative, allergies still prohibit as much as thirty percent of adults from eating various foods, according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. “No Whey!” does not have the capability to adhere to the restrictions of over approximately thirty

Currently the restaurants, Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A, presumably pay some kind of rent each month to the school in order to have their store remain on campus. If students were allowed to bring in outside food and drinks from these establishments, the price of rent for these places would be increased, as the demand of their food would also increase. Moreover, the demand for the food would increase because students would be authorized to partake in these company’s products in more locations ultimately expanding their potential business opportunities. Enacting on these proposals would yield a larger capital for the school and then this larger capital pool can be allocated to cover a downside to permitting students to bring in outside food and

In sunny California there is a town called Yutter. The dearth of water has caused the soil to be very dry and infertile and so the farmers cannot grow crops, impacting the economy in Yutter, changing it for the worst. The town of Yutter has a deal with the farmers and the water supply company for the town so that they can have more water than other citizens per square acre of land, in order to keep the new seeds alive before they shrivel up and the plants die. Paul Jump, Yutter’s main farmer, much to his chagrin, asked the mayor at the town meeting for water, saying “I can grow food for my pigs with the money I made off of my crops if I have two thousand more gallons a week!” The mayor ignores his request and the audience of the meeting starts to become obstreperous as they walk up to Paul Jump with screams of invective.

CINCINNATI – No matter how good a scout is, or how advanced analytics become, there will always be an element of crapshoot in the draft, an inevitable by-product of trying to project what young men aged 18-22 will become three or four years down the line. That’s how Mike Trout, arguably the best player on the planet, lasts until pick No. 25 in 2009, selected right after Jared Mitchell and Randal Grichuk. At the time he played for a small high school in New Jersey and hadn’t really been tested in any prominent showcase, allowing the Los Angeles Angels to basically steal him that low.
Mainly the quality of the food, every student pays a substantial amount of money to eat on campus. It’s not fair to students having to throw away food and spend their money at restaurants, just so they don’t starve. The hours of the dining hall are definitely the easiest thing to fix, closing at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon is obviously ridiculous. The hours should at least end around 8:00 p.m. Also, building a restaurant on campus would make the school much more appealing to recruits.
