Global warming is the increase in the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and oceans. It is a change that is thought to be irreversibly changing the earths climate. Some people say global warming is a (hoax) and that it is a natural cycle that the earth goes through, but the evidence that supports the theory that humans are the driving force of global warming is just too significant to disregard. Most scientists believe that global warming has been triggered by human expansion of “the greenhouse effect”. This warming takes place when the atmosphere traps heat discharged from earth to space.
2. Brief analysis/warrant (How/Why this is important? )This shows how if we continue to pollute our atmosphere by emitting greenhouse gases such as carbon into our atmosphere, it will cause more natural disasters which will be more severe due to the rising temperatures which will allow for more severe storms, which is all a result from emissions. II. Conclusion A. Restate Thesis to remind the audience of your position: It can be said from the previous examples that global warming and climate change are both caused by human emission of greenhouse gases which result in consequences such as warmer temperatures and severe natural disasters.
Nevertheless, too much can consequent on a directly opposite effect- too warm of a world for survival. We were taught that the major cause of global warming is pollution generated by mankind. Which is correct, but what's the main source? Perhaps the burning of fossil fuels, such as cars and factories, is the leading cause of global warming? What about the tons of debris accumulated every year, does anyone believe that that's the major cause?
The other environment problem caused by air pollution is global warming. The mean cause of global warming is burning fossil fuels which lead the emission of carbon dioxide. Based on this situation it can result in rising sea level and increasing the temperature of the world. Furthermore, it could also lead to extreme weather such as drought and
In these industries, goods are produced in factories, these companies and industries are primary contributors to global warming. As these factories or manufacturers use a significant amount of burning of fossil fuels. This burning of fossil fuels produces Sulfur Dioxide and other harmful gasses that can severely contribute to our predicament Global Warming. If we use an alternative solution for the fossil fuels, we would probably end up having to face many political and economic issues. Even though we have much alternative energy, like solar panels and wind turbines, fossil fuels are the primary lead in the economy.
Carbon dioxide is naturally present in the atmosphere as part of the Earth 's carbon cycle that is the natural circulation of carbon among the atmosphere, oceans, soil, plants, and animals. Human activities are fixing the carbon cycle both by adding more Carbon dioxide to the atmosphere and by affecting the ability of natural sinks, like forests, to remove Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. While Carbon dioxide transmitted come from a variety of natural sources, mankind-related emissions are liable for the increase that has occurred in the atmosphere since the industrial revolution. Carbon dioxide is continuosly being exchanged among the atmosphere, ocean, and land surface as it is both issued and engaged by numerous microorganisms, plants, and animals. Regardless of how, release and removal of Carbon dioxide by these natural processes usually to balance.
Since the industrial revolution, we have been relying on extracting and burning billion tons of fossil fuel which are oil, natural gas, and coal. These fossil resources generate gasses such as CO2 that lock up the heat and result in major changes in the climate. As a result, burning fossil fuel is a major cause of global warming, because it increases the concentration of CO2. The United Nation Environment Program states that the carbon dioxide emissions that human is producing from fossil fuel today equals “5.9 billion metric tonnes of carbon in 1992” which is three quarters of the total CO2 produced by human in general (http://unfccc.int, 2000). We use and burn fossil sources for many purposes such as generating power, transportation, burning and cutting trees, creating chlorofluorocarbon, and many other industries.
To begin with, the advancements in agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation have caused a rapid increase in fossil fuel burning such as coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as other practices that release pollutants in the atmosphere since the Industrial Revolution in 1850 . These forcings have affected the temperature of the earth because concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide have increased in the atmosphere , and carbon dioxide which is known to be a greenhouse gas is a main component to the warming of the earth . These greenhouse gases trap some of the heat on earth by absorbing solar radiation and re-emitting heat in all directions which essentially leads to the increase of temperature in the earth. It is also measured that greenhouse gases with a higher Global Warming Potential (GWP) absorb more energy per pound, which warms the earth even further . Moreover, the
Global warming can be defined as the heating up of the earth’s atmosphere due to greenhouse gases causing the “greenhouse effect” in which gasses like carbon dioxide, nitrious oxide, methan get trapped in the earth’s atmosphere and raises its temperature. Global warming cause a chain of subsequent events disastrous to human life and the environment such as natural calamities, reduction in water reserves, extinction of wildlife, rise in the seal levels and many more. Scientists say that there are two main activities that cause global warming which can be categorized into human activities and industrial activities. Even though human activities up to some level are responsible for global warming it Is the industrial activities that aggravates it. Industries generate greenhouse gases during their production process.
