For many years, the concept of enforcing or tightening gun control has been very controversial. According to a survey conducted by the Pew research center in April of 2021, about 50% of the people in the United States see gun violence as by far, one of the biggest problems in the country today. However, tightening gun regulations for the American people is a good solution. Enforcning gun control would interfere with their rights to bear arms. Furthermore, gun regulation only attracts more gun violence. Finally, the thought that tightening gun control will stop mass shootings can’t be an answer to gun violence because there is no critical proof showing that that's true. That thought is based on quick thoughts and misconceptions.

Gun control could affect the law-abiding citizens in a significant way. The people who genuinely abide by the laws could have their rights taken away from them which is against the constitution and could spark controversy and outrage amongst both the people who support gun control and those who don't support gun control.
There's another possibility that the people who don’t use guns responsibly simply just won’t follow the laws and will end up just ignoring the gun laws that they try and enforce. There are many loopholes in the gun business meaning that someone could easily get a gun without going through the gun registration process.
Speaking of ways to get guns illegally, the most common way to do so is by going on the black market and buying off of there. The underground economy is very big. In fact, the underground economy accounts for 11%-12% of America's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) which adds up to a total of 2.8 trillion. As the numbers show, the underground economy is used quite a bit and is definitely another

The second amendment clearly states that the American people can be armed. Therefore, enforcing gun control and gun laws would only interfere with our rights more than ever.
Another way that gun control can interfere with our rights is by giving the people a risk of impediment when it comes to actually exercising your rights. Precautions like extensive background checks can interfere with our rights by delaying law abiding citizens from purchasing and/or acquiring a firearm which could prevent the people from exercising their rights to bear arms.
Lastly, another way that gun control can interfere with our rights is by invading our privacy during the process of firearm registration. The fourth amendment of the U.S constitution protects the people from unreasonable search and seizures. This includes search and seizures that are needed to be done during the process of gun registration. Therefore, gun control (yet again) interferes with the rights of the American
The second amendment and the input of gun control laws has been a big issue, especially when the number of mass murders and shootings are continuing to grow in the United States. Putting a limit or constraint on people who own guns will not stop the problem. Putting a limit may hold someone back for a short period of time, but somehow will still find one, purchase it, and use it. Some people just own a gun for the simple purpose of protection. Three major components of the second amendment will be affected if some type of gun control were to take place and those three components are concealed carry, weapons of mass destruction, and invasion of privacy.
Gun Rights in America The Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights grants Americans the right to bear arms. Opinions of this vary, but I believe the safety of ourselves and posterity are above all. Criminals throughout the US take advantage of this privilege and use weapons for violence and evil purposes that should be unspeakable to our world, such as murder, robbery, and torture. Owning rifles or pistols ourselves is the only way to counter these treacheries.
The topic of gun control and firearm regulation has been subject to heated debate for a long while. Both sides have potent arguments, however the core of this issue ultimately boils down to the constitution itself. More specifically the second amendment. This argument quickly becomes quite complicated because gun control and firearm regulation concerns not only the right of citizens, but more importantly the safety of citizens. The second amendment helps to guarantee an imperative right belonging to all citizens.
Gun control has been a controversial issue for many years. Many citizens believe that if gun control is strictly enforced it would reduce the threat of crime. People have the right to bear arms for protection, or even just the pleasure of hunting and recreational activity. With the recent events involving firearms and mass shootings, people are skeptical whether to increase or decrease gun laws. Americans have a constitutional right to own handguns and stricter laws and licensing will not effectively save lives.
Have you ever been in a situation in which the possession of a firearm would have made you feel more comfortable? Are you the type of person that abhors firearms or are you the type person who no matter what the government says is willing to argue and protect your second amendment and maintain your right to bear arms. The Second Amendment to the United States says that "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " To infringe means "to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another," which is exactly what gun control does.
Gun control endangers American’s constitutional right to bear arms. Politicians and civilians alike mistakenly think that revoking our constitutional right to keep and bear arms will ensure the end of gun violence in our country. Taking away our guns by criminalizing the purchase or ownership of guns will not keep weapons out of the hands of violent criminals. If we criminalize guns the violent gun-slinging criminals we worry about would continue to purchase them illegally through the black market. Marginalizing our right to bear arms endangers civilians due to the fact that those laws only affect law abiding citizens, rendering them defenseless.
Anyone that thinks gun control is the answer to the killing that is going on is wrong! Nothing will change until parents start teaching their children right from wrong. Gun Control is too much of a political something you do to win a battle or to get what you want and failing. Politicians talks about the need to increase gun restrictions to stop gun crime, but new and current gun laws are designed to fail in order to allow certain people to own them and make unhappy because of not having a vote others.
The Second Amendment clearly states the right to own a firearm and if gun laws become stricter it would just go against it. The Founders understood the fact that the right to hold and bear arms is just as essential to maintaining a free country as the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and many more rights stated in the Bill of Rights. If we made gun laws stricter it would interfere in the development of a free country. According to the NRA-ILA, “the Second Amendment states that as an American citizen, you have the individual right to arm yourself. The amendment also firmly establishes that the government cannot infringe on that right” (NRA-ILA).
Just in In the United States itself has been said that a gun has been the top most violent weapon in violent crimes. Just into 2011, 128,900 of crimes were committed with firearms(Klimas). Also in the year of 2014,8,124 murders were used just by fire-arms(Quadl). Gun control is not only entirely reasonable but also certain to be effective. Some of the society needs to recognize in-state Manning fully that legally owning or selling guns only puts another life at risk.
If gun control was to be put into place by the government then it would make the second amendment useless. Another case against gun control is concerning Mexico and their very strict gun laws and process of obtaining a firearm “Mexico 's gun store is on a secure military base and customers must present a valid ID, go through a metal detector, and turn over cell phones and cameras to guards. To actually buy a gun, customers have to show proof of honest income, provide references, pass a criminal background check, prove any military duties were completed with honor, and be fingerprinted and photographed” according to Gun Control Pro Con
Gun Control Debate Jake Novak, in an article for CNBC titled, “Gun control isn’t the answer. We already know how to stop the violence,” gives his opinion regarding the controversial issue of gun control. Novak argues that gun control is not the answer to rising gun violence but that proper enforcement of the law would go a long way in reducing the cases of gun violence in America. He states, “We actually solved the issue of rising gun violence in America in the mid-1990’s and again in the early 2000’s by doing something radical. We enforced the law” (Novak 28).
One of the most controversial issues our nation faces today is gun control laws. This controversy has been created due to the different interpretations of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution which states the right of citizens to bear arms; “a well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” (Cornell Law School). Anti-gun control laws believe that the amendment guarantees the right to bear any kind of firearms. On the other hand, we have does that believe that more controls laws should be implemented since the 2nd amendment was for the right of States to have an armed militia during wartime. Both sides have strong point, however, the safety of our children comes first, and a firearm means death in the wrong hands.
Strict regulations and limitations have been pursued already and clearly do not suffice. Statics brought to attention by gun control opponents, show that gun control laws have done little to reduce crime rates. Several restrictions have been made on certain guns, considered as overly dangerous, though in the hands of an unstable criminal even a legal hunting gun can be deadly. Countless restrictions have been made, however people have still found ways around them. If people are unstable and determined enough, they will find a gun, regardless of the restrictions or regulations.
Gun Control Gun control has become a polarizing and controversial issue around the globe. There have been many reported issues of mass shootings both in schools and in the public, making it a hot button issue. Proponents argue that, if the government strictly controls the ownership of guns, such tragedies can be prevented. Most Americans have an obsession with guns because the law allows them to do so. Therefore, they are always ready to scoff at anyone trying to control gun ownership.
Gun control also limits our constitutionally derived right to own firearms. If gun control is enforced, law-abiding citizens will be forced to give up their guns and their right to own guns, while many criminals who own guns may illegally keep theirs. As the saying goes “If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” Guns are an important aspect of our society in many ways. They allow for protection, recreation, and hunting.
