Smoking In Public Place
A notorious trend surreptitiously but fatally killing thousands

The other day, I was heading to my village. When I was at the nearest place of my home, I identified a small crowd where a half aged man is threatening a juvenile boy because of smoking in front of Boro Bhai (senior brother). The poor guilty boy, I deem, got extensive humiliation, and next time will think twice before smoking public places as well as in front of any seniors.
This picture is perhaps seen in every village, which makes us ecstatic in a matter of public smoking. Conversely, a number of elderly citizens do not think once before smoking in front of other non-smoker family members including kids and women.

If someone raises his voice against them, he may have a chance to be humiliated.
And smoking in front of adolescents most alarmingly encourages them to habituate smoker.
Not to mention that such kind of heinous acts is obviously the crime that must not go unpunished. And it would be the crucial to ensure nonsmokers protection through the restriction of smoking in public places and workplaces.
In the context of halting smoking in public places, we have two news – encouraging and disheartening.
The stimulating matter is that Bangladesh has outlawed smoking in public places, including in transport, schools, offices, hospitals, and airports in 2015 amending the Tobacco Control Law of 2005.
People caught smoking in public places will now have to pay a fine of BDT. 50 (80 US cents; 40 UK pence) under the new anti-smoking provisions.
But our hopes ruin when we observe that some of lawmakers and law enforcers, who are supposed to take strict measures and enforcing the law against the public smokers, smoke in public places without any
Therefore, legislation should ban smoking in cars carrying children under the age of eighteen. By smoking while carrying children in the car, parents, guardians, or other adults neglect the adolescent passengers from their right to live without secondhand smoke-induced health complications. Sadly, children may disagree with their parents smoking, but they do not have a choice but to live with their guardian’s habit. Millions of people make the decision to smoke cigarettes every day, despite being well-informed that the practice is extremely detrimental to their health. Additionally, based on the abundance of products designed to help people quit smoking, it is clear that many smokers view cigarettes as a bad habit. From a policymaking standpoint, it is unambiguous that smoking cigarettes is a poor decision that many would prefer not to make. Moreover, we can safely assume that smokers, like everyone else, value their health as an intrinsic good.
For several decades, smoking remains one of the most common and most unhealthy of human habits. Smoking, specifically in public, had generally been regarded as a personal choice that bystanders had little control over. Even now, smoking is still one of the lead killers in North America and its effects are still harming innocent people. After all the people who have succumbed to the effects of tobacco smoking, when do we learn to stop? I believe we can solve this issue with a ban for smoking cigarettes.
Electronic cigarettes were first introduced into the tobacco market in 2003. However, in the last few years, electronic cigarettes have been trending, especially among high school students. Companies have branded e-cigarettes as a ‘safer’ alternative to regular cigarettes, however, it is quite possible that consumers, more specifically the youth, are not well informed of the ingredients in them.

Have you ever noticed the increasing number of users of the electronic cigarettes? Electronic cigarettes (EC) use double every day. During my senior year in high school, I remember when the EC first came out into the market. I watched everyone trying it for the first time, both smokers and non-smokers. Some people thought that this was a safer way to smoke while others thought it was a great way for them quit smoking.

Smoking has been a long time habit round the world. The Supreme court banned smoking is some areas. I think smoking should be banned from all public places because of the disease that it can cause and all the harm it can do to people. People should have the right to walk wherever they want without being around the affects of someone smoking outside or worrying about having their life put in danger. If everyone make a campaign against smoking it can soon possibly get banned from all public places. Smoking has become a social habit nowadays. When people around are smoking, the person practically feel like he/she should be doing the same. And this is increasing day by day in our country. Smoking tribulates almost every organ of the body. It is the leading cause of more than 443,00 deaths each year.
