Rewarding students for good grades will decrease student’s self-motivation. Paying students for good grades will realize an actual decrease in academic performance. These distinct disadvantages highlight why schools should not pay students for good grades. First, paying students for good grades causes practical problems in the classroom. According to the National Education Association (NEA), “Many teachers also say paying students for grades leads to practical problems in their classrooms, including pressure to inflate grades and conflict with students and parents.” These pressures and conflicts can lead to larger problems outside of school.
Some teachers would say every test is important but sometimes that's not true. Many tests are put onto the computer when they could just be put on to paper and have it be read to the class and we'll figure it out, but people don't think that it's the way to do things. Sometimes they make it a big deal when we do a test to make us worry and it plays with our emotions and makes us upset. When a child is upset they won't do as good on a test if they were
Do you think that schools should pay students for good grades? Well, I do not think so and here are many reasons why. Schools cannot just give money to students for good grades. Students should be willing to get good grades because they want to get into a good college, into a good job, and make money on their own. Paying students for good grades can lead to problems in the classrooms.
But I think that there are 3 main qualities that a teacher should have to be considered a good teacher. A good teacher guides, student, they guide us to make the right decision, even when it can be hard to figure out what is right. They guide us when times are hard and we don’t exactly know what to do. A good teacher protects us, in this world too many things can go wrong and our parents aren’t always there to keep us safe, especially at school. They step up and risk their own lives to save their students even when they don’t have to.
her opinion to keep grade inflation away from happening in the future, she said “teachers should be truthful to the students and make them love education because grade inflation is an issue across the board”. She also said “Students are here to learn and to expand their knowledge and teachers are doing the best they can to make them love learning”. However, she thinks that if a teacher tells the student that he or she did a fabulous job when it was not that good, did they really understand what they have done? It is not fair to them. She strongly believes in encouraging students and telling them where they stand.
He stated and gave many examples to try and prove his point through. In many ways I agree with him, students should do what they are interested in, but some may be lazy and not do anything which is why they might need that help that teachers provide. At the end of the day I think teachers do feel like they taught at least one person something new that day which might help them out with their future college path or occupations. But, at the same time I disagree because I think most should attend school not just for their grades and their parents, but also for themselves. Just knowing what is going on around you gets you feeling
Some people may not agree that teachers should be paid more, Because they also get as much brakes as children do, but teachers do deserve more money for all of the work and hours and effort they put into teaching us. Teachers should get paid more, because they are the ones who teach us what we know so we can get a job, they are the ones that teach Our lawyers and doctors so why do they get paid way less then than them. What is holding our government and our school districts, from paying our teachers what they really deserve. They teach us everything that we need to know to have a successful life. they do so much for us and so much for our country and ourselves they deserve more Then they get from school and from their paycheck. They deserve to have a well-paying job that helps them support themselves and do extra things with their families.
Many students need to have these classes because it may be their only motivation to stay in school. Teachers are told that they need to have differentiated learning, but that is hard to do when students need to constantly be drilling for math and reading passages. There is only so much differentiation that a teacher can do. With the standardizing of curriculum, the material has become less relevant and students need to be able to see how the material they are learning is going to benefit them in the long run. Kids who are living in poverty need more time, energy, love, and support than upper-class students, and the public school education system is not able to give them that.
Obviously, that is not enough, therefore students will not have the motivation any more to get good grades the next year, because they want something more. I think students should get paid for good grades for several reasons, for example it will motivate the students to work hard, teach the students responsibility, and it will make the teacher’s job easier. Some students around the world are asking this question, “should students be paid for good grades”. Some students say yes we should, because students are working hard to get good grades, so they deserve a proper gift. Imagine the situation if the school pays the student who gets good marks.
To students, sitting in such classes is very boring (Chaudhari, 2017). Another set of students say that they pay for the classes and they are the ones to decide which class to attend and not. Students believe that they are capable of gaining more knowledge even without going to classes. A study conducted recently reports that effort and intelligence are more important for grades and not the attendance. Students agree to this statement made as they feel that their focus and determination can get them high grades.
