I just love the new era of technology. I t just makes life so much easier and better, or is Technology more of a drawback ? Even though technology is alnmost flawless it still lets users down and in the most inconvinient moments.Since we are sometimes so dependent on technology its failure can be such a heavy hit on a person. It is almost guranteed that when technology fails us its going to hit us hard in our hearts and hard in our pockets. It was a mild April night I was at work torwards the end of my shift. I looked up at the clock and realized it was time to go, so I pulled my phone out and scrolled right to unlock it.Then it just turned off I tried to press the plwer button to turn it back on. My phone didnt respond to my request so I took a deep breath and put it back in my pocket. I asked my co worker for his phone to call my ride. As soon as I got home I set my phone to charge hopping that it would respond. I then took a shower and went back to check on my phone...still no respond, I …show more content…
I was really looking for an upgrade even though my mom reccomended that bought the same phone. I had the Iphone 5 the broken version so I knew it was going to come down to either the 6s or the new and shiny 7. We went to the cashier which my mom was familiar with. The cashier’s name was Deandre and he semmed friendly and I told him about my situation. Deandre told me not to worry about it and asked me what phone I wanted. As a result I told him what it had came down to and he pulled both the 6s and the 7 out. I considrered both the phones and took several variables into the decision. When it came down to it I chose the 6s for one main reason: the price. The Iphone 6s was 600$ while the 7 was a whoping 800$ so the decision wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. My first order of buisness after deciding was buying some insurance for my phone. Defilently did not want this inconvinence to happen
Every one of us can possibly be guilty of pursuing what we believe will bring us joy, yet once we get them we are no longer satisfied. It is possible to want the newest phone available. To get this phone you work harder and make sure that you are checking the price daily to see if it has changed. You become so excited for the day that you actually purchase it and you make sure that everything about the phone is pristine. At the start it is exactly what you pictured all this time before.
This psychological assignment requires us to break a social norm. In my case, I decided to break an appearance social norm. I thought in something weird, but at the same time really funny. Therefore, I entered to my little walking closet and I took the most brilliant and extravagant high heels shoes that I found to wear them at a place when people usually used flip flops.
Lani: I was helping for someone’s project for COMM 245; I was in the video lab, in the studio. I was on campus and decided to contact everyone I knew who comes to the school. I remember I sent out a snap saying guys I think there is a shooting, be careful and then I started sending out individual texts to people making sure they were okay, like hey are you good? Stay out of an area.
It happened on June 11, 2015. My lacrosse team won our regional quarter final game the previous day—I scored my personal best of five goals and was named Player of the Game. As a reward for the win, my coach gave us a three hour practice the next day that was strictly conditioning—leaving the seniors 30 minutes to go home, shower, change, and drive to our Senior Dinner at Bowdoin College. I raced home from practice, my sweat sticking to the car leather seats, music blasting, and the wind in my hair. I had the future on my mind: playoffs, graduation, summer, and college.
I was saving up my money to get a new car on my phone. I kind of pushed a cop off and he may have died but look on the bright side I got a free gun and I wasn’t wanted. I was going to buy the tank but I didn’t
Leaving me breathless to what he just told me in the thirty second that felt like hours. Questions began racing through my head like, How did i get in Ohio, is my family ok, and most importantly who did this? This is when everything set in that I have no family, they might be all dead. The question of who did this was still looming in my mind.
Hi, my name’s Donovan. I’m 17 years old and graduated this year with honors. I was raised with Christian values in mind, and attended a Methodist school. I was raised in the Christian faith yet I find myself, as with some of my friends who were raised in the same conditions, we seem to be growing farther away from our upbringing as we age. I find myself simply not understanding as time goes by, a complete polar opposite from the song ‘Farther Along’.

Even though technology has its benefits, the negatives seem to outweigh the positives. When we become too dependent on technology it becomes a major factor in our
In a house of four people and two of them being teenage girls, diversity is inevitable. Different opinions stretch from things as simple as colors, to things as important as career choices. The variety of selections gives the opportunity for opinions to differ in phone brands. Those choices being polar opposite. I wish I knew what drove my sister down the horrific path of Apple products.
The day the sky appeared broken is probably what first alarmed people into thinking something were wrong. Not to mention the unnatural occurrences that led up to it in the first place, causing an up rise in panic throughout the population. Not that you could blame them though. It was that day in which everything we humans knew changed. Towns and cities were left in ruins and civilisation eradicated.
Color is large aspect of a consumer decision to purchase an cellular device therefore, when Apple came out with the new jet black color, it influenced the consumers to buy that version. Referring back to the graph, a decrease in demand was caused because of a shift of consumer preferences.. From the iPhone 6 to 6s, Apple had added a 3D touch, which they thought many would be intrigued by. Though on the contrary, just led to a reduction in units sold. In all, this shows the importance of customer preferences because once the company keeps the customer satisfied, the customer stays loyal to the company.
