An example of disagreeing with the author would be that people are not wealthy enough to afford tickets or tax codes so they would not care and try to sneak past it. This world has many poor citizens and they would do a lot just to try and get food or they do not have to time to think about the law when they have to worry about where are they going to sleep the next day. Many ways they can avoid this is by learning from thier mistakes. if someone gets caught littering or speeding then they give that person a small ticket so you will not do it again and you will not become a criminal. This example shows that they will teach you to be a better person by giving them a minor law .Many other ways to see what scofflaws are doing wrong can be as simple as being lazy or being in a rush. This argument can extend to many different ways people can improve their social
A family that has to worry about where their money, food, shelter is coming from, won't able to bond and be a traditional family. Single-parents are forced to work hours to keep up with the bills, often separating them from their children. Without parental guidance, children begin to look elsewhere. This is what gets children involved in gangs, and then crime. Children who aren't shown love and support go on to lead unsatisfactory lives.
The single mother will need to obtain the responsibility of providing for the family, do maintenance on the house and be a caring parent, while only being one person. This can be highly stressful and it can have a negative impact on the mother and the children. This can cause a conflict in the house if the only parent in the house has been overwhelmed and has no time to relax.“Medina says she recognized right away that she didn’t have time to be the father and mother both”(Forestner 2). Telemachus’s mother was so busy trying to rule the kingdom and keep away the suitors, she did not always have the time to be with Telemachus. Telemachus decided to form friends with others in the palace such as maids and workers.
If one does not communicate with their parents enough, then the child may believe they are in charge of the family rather than the parent. Peter and George were talking about how Peter does not want to do things by hand because he was gotten lazy and George says that he would rather they not use technology. Peter whines, ‘“I don’t want to do anything but look and listen and smell; what else is there to do?”’ (Bradbury 7). Technology has interfered with the human connection way too much because Peter did not even know why the automatic painter was taken away until now. If Peter were to be a human in today’s
This shows that many people would think that going to a play was more important than deciding whether a 19-year-old should die or live. Being on a jury can also be hard for your family when you aren’t around. Juror Two asks if they would let them go home and finish it in the morning because it was getting late and he had a kid at home who had mumps (Rose 338). This shows how you would have to put everything in your life on hold, including your family, to be on a jury. Not only is jury duty a problem in Twelve Angry Men but it also is a problem for real world people.
The men did not pay attention to any of their wives concerns and they would often let the woman know what they were saying was nonsense. The narrator 's tone when she states that “John laughs at me, of course, but one expects that in a marriage” would cause one to think that the way they were treated, like a child, was normal for this time period (Perkins 768). Also, the men didn’t want the women working too hard. One might think this seems like it would be great, but in reality it wasn 't that much fun just sitting around at home all day. The reader can see this when the narrator tries to write her daily journals, but she has to do it in a sneaky way so her husband will not catch her doing so.
Some parents think earning a college degree is useless especially if they are paying for your tuition. It’s a risk to take. Is the tuition worth the job? Families of first-generation students sometimes discourage them from going to college because college is not worth the money and time. This can lead to discouragement and alienation from family support.
Dad/Mum will come back from work late and they’ll not have time for their child. “Over time, the combination of various negative factors can seriously deteriorate the relationship between a parent and a child. Night shifts are a difficult way for any parent to support their children financially due to the ways in which the children are deprived emotionally.” Therefore, the child will find security in games and television etc. Kids even consult the internet or strangers online for help if they need it which can display them to wrong information resulting in problems. You wouldn’t like your child speaking to someone without knowing who or what type of person they are.
They do not know how they can get good grades because they did nothing for the grade except being paid. It is a vicious circle for students. (transition) (intro) If students worked hard, their grades will be good. Yet if they are being paid for a grade, it is wasting parents money (Pay). If the paying is just for the makeshift, it is wasting money.
One of those changes is divorce. Divorce was not very common years ago, as how it is today. Divorce is very common now but can get ugly especially when children are involved and the parents can’t come to an agreement, or money settlement. The reason why divorce was uncommon years ago, was because the wives had no say in anything and they had to obey anything their husband had to say. It was also expensive and many people could not afford getting divorce.
Children should not get payed to get chores because it teaches responsibility, appreciate what is done for us, and how to keep our homes clean and organized. Children shouldn’t get payed to chores because it teaches us responsibility. Doing chores for free teaches us this because it lets us know that some have to be done daily. Additionally, in the article It’s Not About Money the author states “If we pay you to do chores, you might decide that taking a week off is worth the money you would have earned.”
