The New York Rangers head to Minnesota to take on the Wild, and look into extending their winning streak to 2-games.
Unfortunately, for the Rangers the Wild have been lights out on home ice, and the Rangers have been nothing short of mediocre on the road.
However, if there is a plus too look at while this team heads west for another road trip, it will be the fact that Derek Stepan (broken ribs) and Kevin Klein (oblique) both were cleared for contact and skated a full practice Wednesday.
For Klein, it is likely he will be out for one more game, and Brady Skjei, a Minnesota native, will play in Minnesota.
For Stepan, he is ahead of his 4-6 weeks prognosis following the hit he suffered on Black Friday.
When asked, Coach Alain Vigneault said that both Stepan and Klein have a chance to play Friday night in Winnipeg.

To no surprise, Stoll will be in the lineup tonight vs the Rangers on the Wilds fourth line.
For the Rangers, to get back to where they were prior to this 2-6-2 skid, they need to concentrate on the little things, then work their way up from there.
A plus for the Rangers is that they have arguably one of the best goaltenders in the world for them in between the pipes. If need be Henrik Lundqvist can single handedly win games for this team.
Nonetheless, if he is going to win games he is going to need some help defensively. The biggest part where the Rangers have struggled, the slot. I don’t think you can count on your two hand the amount of goals have been score against the Ranger in this area, an area where you cannot give up these
