After a dinner party, a man that we call the Time Traveler gets into an argument based on that time travel is possible. The guest’s majority doesn’t believe him, though, not even after he makes a model Time Machine disappears and then shows them the full-scale machine. The next week, the he is a half hour late to his own dinner party. So he tries to work the time machine but messes up. The Time Traveler has gone way too far, far into the future. To the year 802,701. He has no guidance there, leaving him to make assumptions about what's going on. His Time Machine gets stolen, so he has to stay around way longer than he wanted to and find it.
