The police found out that he died from a gunshot and later found out Charlie Fitzgerald shot him out of suspicion. Rest In Peace Mr. Pete Mr. Van Horn’s death stirred the pot even more.

Sunday, November 5th, of this year, 26 people were killed and 20 more were injured when a man opened fire inside a Texas church.
The hitman pulled out automatic tommy guns from under their coats and pumped lead into each of the seven North Side gang members. According to the police report about 200 bullets were scattered on the floor of the warehouse, making this event one of the bloodiest act of gang violence in the 20s. Today, 14 people were killed and 17 others were wounded by the mass shooting that occurred in San Bernardino- California. Three gunmen entered the social service center located in San Bernardino and opened fire on people. Witnesses claimed that the shooters were armed with long guns, wearing ski masks and military-style vests. The chief police Jarrod Burguan alarmed the people to be safe because one of the killers is still free and they didn’t find him yet. However, the police managed to identify one of the killers called Syed Farooq.
Education in Ferguson Missouri: And The Death of Michael Brown The editorial “unheard” portrays the event of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson Missouri and how it affected the people near and abroad. Michael brown, a recent high school graduate, robbed a convenience store. After police were notified, the suspect Michael Brown was spotted by law enforcement. The officer ordered Michael to cooperate but he resisted and later tried to assault the officer according to witnesses. The officer discharged multiple rounds onto the unarmed Michael Brown, later killing the criminal.
Rahm Emanuel Fires Fall Guy in the Laquan McDonald Shooting The American people have expressed their outrage over the shooting of unarmed black teen Laquan McDonald by a white Chicago police officer. The outrage was not just that Officer Van Dyke shot McDonald 16 times as the teen was calmly walking down the street, but that the police department and city officials tried to cover the incident up. There was a police car dash cam that caught the whole incident on film, but the recording was hidden away for over a year. The nearby Burger King had its footage erased by fellow officers. And, before a civil suit was ever filed by McDonald 's family, the city offered them $5 million dollars if they agreed to not discuss the video, which they likely had not even seen.
This makes them seem more like villains than heroes. One case of this is in the murder of Kelly Thomas, “a Californian schizophrenic man who police beat to death in 2011. The story goes that the owner of a club called the police because they were suspicious that someone was breaking into the vehicles. When they arrived, the police saw no evidence of this. They did spot Thomas and they tried to question and frisk him.
One of the women was raped and the other two were assaulted, but escaped before they were raped. Based on the descriptions and the similarities of the attacks, Los Angeles police concluded that the same person committed all three attacks—the victims all were attacked at about 6 a.m. by a man with a knife as they walked to a bus stop. The police soon focused on 29-year-old Luis Vargas because he had a single teardrop tattoo under his left eye. All three victims identified Vargas in photo lineups, although with less than 100 percent certainty. Vargas was arrested on 07/21/1998.

When unarmed, 17 year old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch for looking suspicious with skittles in his pocket; similarly, when unarmed, 18 year old Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer for stealing a pack of cigars, and when other countless unarmed black people have been shot and killed in America, the argument has been whether race affected these situations. Although many still don’t see the social inequality minorities in America still face, the reality for these groups is heartbreaking. August 9th, 2014, social media sites were flooded with reports of the shooting of Michael Brown. People were outraged, but for very different reasons.
