Midwifery is a health profession that deals with pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, including care of the new-born, or practice of assisting women in childbirth. Midwifery is based on the belief that childbirth is natural, healthy process and the most important are fully capable of giving birth. Midwives see pregnancy as part of the full spectrum of life's experience, and they believe individuals have the right to a fulfilling, as safe, childbirth experience. A midwife is called a midwife not because the midwife is in the middle of anything, nor because during the birth of the children the midwife is helping the wife as an opposed to the husband. A solution to change these negative perceptions about the traditional midwifery is when a government can start making the policies that will involve traditional midwifery to work together with the modern midwifery to share ideas and the skills that both have in this job. Again they should give them a chance to prove to themselves that they can do their job before they can be judged by false accusations. These are the solution to the problem because when traditional and modern midwifery starts to work together they will both solve the solutions that they had been encounter during the past years that they had been working along. It will be the time for them to do their job well without any difficulties that they had while they are separated. WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM THIS ASSIGNMENT? In this essay, I hope people will learn that traditional midwifery they can do their work good, as the modern midwifery do. Even if they do not have modern tools to help them through the process of delivering a baby they had their natural tools that were helping them to make their job easier as much as the modern midwifery. They also have natural skills and knowledge that assist them through the process even if they did not go to school for their
