Ever Since the reconstruction acts were implemented, the union reformers have flooded my area. They have opened colored schools around the area and try to persuade my laborers to learn. As laborers began to sneak away to weekly lessons, I edited my contract to exclude all laborers from my plantation who pursued an education. The laborers have been scared into submission and the reformers have stopped in their efforts to educate them.
