Obviously, it affects the animals themselves, because they are the ones being treated badly. For example, with animal testing, the poor animals are being tortured to death to make sure HUMANS don’t get cancer, birth defects, etc. The fact that people think it is okay to put these possibly harmful chemicals into innocent living creatures is ridiculous! “Humane Society International estimates that 100,000–200,000 animals suffer and die every year due to cosmetic testing. In these tests, the animals have chemicals forced down their throats, into their eyes and onto their shaved skin in order to document their reaction to ensure the safe use for humans” (Zuazua 2017).
This is a perfect example of the kind of people performing animal testing. The inhumane events these animals go through is tragic. They are completely closed off from the world. Animals are used and disposed of like trash. This just one of the many reasons why animals should not be used for testing.
Not all animal shelters have pristine condition. Sometimes animal shelters exhibit themselves as a malodorous, dirty, and unsettling environment for animals to inhabit. Euthanasia is frequent at shelters like this. Other ways that animals end up in shelters include animal cruelty, behavioral issues, moving, people life experiences, overpricing, and not enough time.
Many anti-cruelty organizations, such as the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), define them as places where profit is given priority over the well being of the dogs. These breeding places are harsh to the dogs and never offer their love to them. Their industries are large and produce millions of dogs every year. They are legal in many states. They are hidden
More specifically we eat food that comes from massive, unethical factory farms. In these “farms” animals are torchered in not only life, but death. It is a sad fact that almost all Americans participate in a form of animal abuse. We buy, use, and eat products that come from inhumane factory
Genghis Khan was a feared Mongolian warrior that killed millions of people. He had led the Mongols into many battles between the 13th century and the 14th century(1206-1368). He had conquered many dynasties, but one of the most bloodiest was the attack on the swang and tang dynasty. The Mongols have stacked people 's skulls in piles and people have written of seeing the blood and fat in the streets of their enemies. This is a great example of why the Mongols had a negative impact on the world.
As stated by the Rainforest CRC, “Feral pigs prey on and compete with a range of native plant and animal species, and
What does it mean to be humane? According to Dictionary Reference, it states that humane means, “characterized by tenderness, compassion, and sympathy for people and animals, especially for the suffering or distressed,” (Dictionary Reference). In factory farms and slaughterhouses there is a severe problem taking control of America. Cruel, inhumane treatment towards animals while being raised and being murdered causes extreme suffering and health problems that can even be passed along to human consumers. All species of animals forcefully tortured to be sold to human buyers encounter similar conflicts when being imprisoned in their factories.
We give them food and make sure they’re hale and hearty, we clean their pens so no diseases or infections spread around, and we exercise them so they don’t become lazy, and surprisingly people see this as animal cruelty? But the “humorous” part about this is that the people who have never been involved with livestock or had experience in the expertise are making assumptions about something that is false. We as farmers just want what’s best for our
Power, Oppression, and Corruption Animal Farm brings alive the voices and personalities of farmyard animals. It is a twist on the events that took place during the Russian Revolution. This fable tale brings forth the conflicts the fallen Russian Empire through displaying the levels of class and real life people in animals. There is easily a good and a bad archetype, however, using the naivety of the uneducated animals the population is manipulated and leered into a false security. The leaders take control and under the power of suggestion, the public becomes starved, overworked, and silenced.
Animal Experimentation Animal experimentation has been practiced for centuries. Humans have always used other living beings for their benefits weather its consuming them, making unnecessary cloths out them such as fur, experimenting and using them as entertainment like in the circus. The treatments these animals experience is beyond inhumane. There are many different experiments done on these animals for human safety, these tests are for cosmetic industries, medical training, testing drug or different types of toxic chemicals and food. Animal experimentation is extremely cruel, unnecessary and unreliable.
Another aspect is that there are some animals are being slaughtered while still conscious. “On Apr. 10, 2001, the Washington Post re-ignited public debate about slaughterhouses with their exposé "They Die Piece by Piece.” The investigation found that animals in slaughterhouses were often cut apart "piece by piece" while still conscious” (Procon.org). There are two methods that usually being used to kill animals. Both methods are cruel and unethical to animals.
The public turning against these dogs really gave them a bad name. In the 1980s, pit bulls were known as a super-predator. The media started filling the public’s head with rumor’s about the dog’s behavior and anatomy (Delise 96). That is when the images of these dogs became so intense that even the people who owned one of them would be affected. These people would then euthanize their dogs in fear that they would turn against them (Delise 97).
The Holocaust is one of the most memorable tragedies known to this day. Many people are very uneducated to this day about what really happened during the Holocaust and how these people were treated. An estimated 6 million Jews were murdered during this time. Just that shows how brutal and heartless some people can be towards other human beings. Millions of Jews were treated extremely inhumane and were executed like animals.
Over the years the issues of animal cruelty in factory farms have become a major problem, because of the thriving meat industry. The issues regarding animal cruelty are important because it concerns fundamental moral and economic questions in respect to the way animals are treated, before being brutally slaughtered and later consumed by Americans daily. The topic of animal cruelty raises multiple differing arguments, many concerning religion or possibly a person's geological location in the world. By considering the arguments made by people who think animal cruelty to be morally acceptable, and researching the verified practices taking place on factory farms today, it will be clear that in the United States Animal cruelty is a cruel and unnecessary
