Childhood obesity has gained a lot attention in recent years, according to this particular article the percentage of children aged 6–11 years in the United States who were obese increased from 7% in 1980 to nearly 18% in 2012. Similarly, the percentage of adolescents aged 12–19 years who were obese increased from 5% to nearly 21% over the same period. >Ogden CL This is showing the poor management in kids over the year. These problems are mainly from the advertisement of fast food, lack of physical activities, and parental control is the major effects health. Obesity is a medical condition resulting from excessive fat accumulation in various body parts .The easy way to define in this case comparing body weight/height. They’re many valuable ways to preventive measure against childhood obesity is included of optimal nutrition. Develop proper dietary plans. Children should barely eat fast food such fries. Guardians should try planning eating like a family. Fruits and vegetables ought to take precedence over carbohydrates. Preferably a half of the meal should compromise of vegetables. • Thanks to First Lady has introduced new rules that saw companies limited in what products they could advertise on signs, vending machines, cups and menu boards on school grounds. (Published Aug. 2014). It very important for schools should follow proper guidelines. They should insist on active participations in sports and even include in subjects. This will help in losing unnecessary weight. Lastly the effective treatment of childhood obesity involves the dietary and behavior changes.
