Ending life is not the right path to proceed Suicide means ending your own life. It is sometimes a way for people to escape pain or suffering. Suicide is not the only solution to a temporary problem there are strategies that you can use to make a memory less prominent. There always an option and we should not include there committing suicide. According to Merriam Webster, suicide is the act of killing yourself because you do not want to continue living, but it is not the right path to proceed.
Although there are some situations in which euthanasia could be exploited, my thesis will argue that it is not always morally wrong to end someone’s life in the circumstances in which euthanasia would be contemplated. The act of euthanising somebody can either be voluntary, in which the person believes their life is not worth living and asks for their life to be ended, or non-voluntary, in which they are unable to do so, and the decision on whether to end their life rests on doctors and family. Furthermore, there are different ways in which it could be performed: through medical intervention, (deliberately ending the patient’s life using medical equipment, such as through lethal injection), or medical non-intervention, (not making any efforts to prolong their life). Both will inevitably end the patient’s life, however, not
People should have the right to choose whether to live or die, but in this case, a newborn does not. Humans should have the right to their own body, even if it means choosing death. This novel uses the practice of euthanasia. In the Giver, when newborns are born with deformities or health problems or
Legalizing physician assisted suicide can not only be a solution to the shortage of vital organs that are needed, but can also give terminally ill patients the opportunity to save another person’s life. According to a journal article written by Michael Cook, “Organ donation after euthanasia enables those who do not wish to remain alive to prolong the lives of those who do, (BioEdge). By giving patients who no longer have the will to live this option they are able to die knowing that they saved another person. Not only do they get this chance, but the organs recovered from them are more viable for transplants. This is because, with the preparation of death by physician assisted suicide, a doctor can save the healthy vital organs before they are left unviable.
In addition, if the patient who wishes to die by euthanasia is an organ donator and the organs are healthy, the organs can save several lives. When a person is terminally ill and has a communicable disease, the longer they are kept alive, the risk of others being affected by the disease increases. Once the individual chooses to die, it would help prevent the transfer of the illness they have to others, especially to other ill people. Therefore, legalizing euthanasia is extremely smart and beneficial for other ill people in helping those who want to live,
It turned out that it has two sides about the point of view towards the euthanasia issue in a positive and negative ways. Although some people against these ideas and claim that it is an unacceptable manner, I certainly disagree about that because it can be proved that the euthanasia is one of the most peaceful ways to escape the great pain for dying people. Euthanasia can be one of the way to relieve the pain and suffering for dying people. As everyone knows that people who have to struggle with the terminal illness always end up in physical and psychological suffering, so some of them wanted to die before the pain is getting worse. According to the news of the Telegraph in 2008 which reported about Val McKay, the British woman who was diagnosed with the multiple sclerosis.
Euthanasia is to help patients who despair and cannot be cured to die peacefully and to have free from suffering. Tulloch Gail from Edinburgh University Press said that Euthanasia can be categorized in two respects. First, if patients have requests for medical help injection for themselves, it is called Voluntary Euthanasia and did not a request from patients, it called Involuntary Euthanasia. Second, if the doctor injected into the patient died, it is called Active Euthanasia but if the doctor lets the patient died by themselves, it is called Passive Euthanasia (2005). However, Euthanasia is also illegal in some countries.
Euthanasia is the end of a person that was suffering from an illness or a traumatic accident in the past that has affected them and changed them to a different person. Most of these people find them self to believe they are a nuisance to others such as family members or some care givers. Euthanasia is the process of end a live of someone in great suffering to relive the pain of whatever caused it in the first place. Euthanasia is one of the most controversial topics because of religious purposes or the choice of choosing a sooner death. Euthanasia is legal in very limited parts of the world.
Physician assisted suicide, although legal in some states, should remain illegal because it goes against religious and moral beliefs. “In physician assisted suicide, the physician provides the necessary means or information and the patient performs the act” (Endlink). Supporters of assisted-suicide laws believe that mentally competent people who are in misery and have no chance of long-term survival, should have the right to die if and when they choose. I agree that people should have the right to refuse life-saving treatments, written in the patient bill of rights. But they should not have the freedom to choose to end their own lives with the help of a physician.
A life is extremely valuable and we should try to live it as best as possible. So instead of going through euthanasia, you should fight and see what the Lord has in store for you. Anything that involves assistance in killing and flat out wrong and devaluing to life. Just imagine you being the doctor that has to kill someone. It would be awful,
