During a semester at Florida Southwestern State College, my ethics professor, professor Swanson, discussed the topic regarding the purpose in life. The class was told the different views that different philosophers had. The main purpose of life according to professor Swanson was ultimate happiness. Aristotle used the term on the human function, Aquinas on the innocent vision, and Kant on the greatest good. Aristotle ones said: "Happiness depends on ourselves." The philosophers all came to the same conclusion that the ultimate goal of human life it to find happiness just in different views.
