The Profession of Arms As professionals we provide expert work that appear to be routine but really isn’t. Our nation’s public rely on the military profession to provide security to our great country and its people. As Soldiers, we continue to train and sharpen our skills, knowledge and abilities. So when the time comes we can take care of business with confidence. Think about it, how can the public protect themselves against outside threats? How will they handle major disasters that happen on American soil? As Soldiers we are held to a high standard in the eyes of the public. The public respects and appreciates our profession because of the details embedded in our job(s) and in the manner we carry them out and how we conduct ourselves.
