Essay On Rational Decision Making Model
As the management team of Aroma café, we are required to make an important decision on deciding a place for our new branch in Johor Bahru. Therefore, the rational decision making model is needed for our situation. First is identify the problem, the problem in our café is to choose the best places to set up our second branches and this needed to be analyse by the criteria. As the criteria is needed to analyse the alternatives, we need to identify the criteria. First is rental, rental is important for our café because if the rental is too high, it will become a burden for our café. Next is competitor, we have to know how many competitor is around the area we choose as the highest the number of competitor, the harder we can attract the customer since the customer will compare others café in terms of pricing and quality. After that, as our target audience is student, the number of school around there will become our criteria to be considered. In addition, the spending power is one of our criteria as it represents how much price are able to set for the food and drink in our café and how frequent consumer will come …show more content…

With a total mark of 271, shop rental for Taman Mount Austin is RM8000 per month with the size of 3533sqft. There are 19 competitors and 8 school around that area. Furthermore, the housing price for the particular area is RM1,200,000. With a total marks of 277, Taman Pelangi shop rental is about RM7500 per month with the size of 1920sqft.
