The leader of the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler, described himself as the creator of the Holocaust alongside his personal assistants, such as Himmler, who would give speeches on behalf of Hitler. The purpose of their actions was to kill anyone who did fit their ideal descriptions, mainly targeting Jewish people.

The actions of the leader’s responsible lead to a dramatic increase in their power. As the Holocaust continued Hitler and the Nazis only got stronger. Although their power increased within Nazi Germany, many people started to riot and attempt to end Hitler’s reign, resulting a couple failed assassination attempts.

The Holocaust mainly targeted the Jewish population in Europe but it also targeted homosexuals, Afro-Germans, gypsies, and many more. The impact of the Holocaust decreased the population of these groups in Germany and many other European countries. After …show more content…

Article 1 addresses the issues of the Holocaust because it says “ … should act towards another in a spirit of brotherhood.” This addresses the issue because the Holocaust was filled with acts that show a lack of brotherhood to many groups in the country. Article 5 addresses the issues of the Holocaust because it says that “ No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” The Holocaust goes completely against this act because many groups of people were tortured and punished in inhumane ways in concentration camps. Article 7 addresses the issues seen in the Holocaust because it says that “ All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law.” This addresses the issue because the Holocaust goes completely against this article as well because many people were discriminated against by the government and were not given protection because of their religion and the color of their
