The total US retail sales increased by 5.45%, and the Asian market grocery sales followed with 5.45% growth. This particular data indicates that the Asian Market industry is gaining market share in the retail sector in the United States. The Asian Market will serve the entire consumer population of Kearney, NE, Grand Island, NE, and residents from nearby town residents. The Asian market will focus more on the Asian customers who need to purchase specific items from their country. In this case, we have set our target consumers to be Asian residents and local residents. The growth rate for these two groups of consumers will match the population growth for the surrounding area. Apple Market sells healthy food and local meat but does not have a large selection of Asian food either. Other competitors include Walmart, Target, and all other supermarket chains in Kearney, NE.
