The analysis will determine how the organization will enhance their responsiveness of leadership will affect the relationship with society. The analysis will determine the health of the organization through the triple bottom line of: people, planet, profit. An implementation of a strategic plan will be devised to practice corporate social responsibility that will enhance the relationship between the organization and stakeholders. CIRI has initiated their offices to be green certificated standards set by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) that sets the guidelines by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) (CIRI, 2010). CIRI promotes the economic and social well-being of their shareholders and their families. CIRI also promotes community initiatives by supporting through volunteering and fundraising for various charitable organizations.
Short/Long-term Effects
The energy efficiency helps combat climate change in the long-term, while effectively saving money to over 6,500 homes in Alaska. CIRI’s buildings use less water, electricity and natural gas from LEED initiatives. This allows CIRI to reduce their carbon footprint for both short and long-terms. President Obama has congratulated CIRI on combating climate change during his 2015 visit to Alaska (CIRI, 2015).
