While I was reading Flowers for Algernon, I was interested to find more out about disabilities, so over the past week I have been researching about asthma. Asthma is a condition causing narrowing of the airways or tubes of the lungs. It is not contagious but you can get it out of nowhere. I have also been having fun with this research, I have got to play a game and I took a quiz I got a ninety percent. In this essay I will tell you what will help stop it, how will I get it and the types of asthma.
The first important information about the article, Sustaining School-Based Asthma Interventions through Policy and Practice Change, is related to the role of school in asthma management programs due to the amount of time children spend in the school setting, the facility to create an educational program, and the opportunity to reach a diversity of children with cultural and economic background. Moreover, school can assist strengthen behavior change essential to make long-lasting positive effects on health outcomes, and results in improvement in asthma care management. Furthermore, school-based intervention may be sustained by collaboration between parents, schools, health care providers, and other entities.
How does this improve Mike’s asthma? - Albuterol is used to relax the muscles that are in the bronchioles to relieve breathing. It relaxes smooth muscle by decreasing the calcium ions. Calcium ions are necessary to produce muscle contraction. It improves Mike’s asthma because it is relaxing his smooth muscle, which allows for a clear pathway for airflow to help him breath
All of a sudden my lungs began to tighten and my legs started to shake. I stop to catch my breath but couldn’t; at that moment I knew I was having an asthma attack. This event happened on a warm sunny day in 6th grade, at Pronghorn elementary school. On that day I learned many lessons, but none as important as what my body’s limitations are.

There was no cure. Magic Johnston was told he was going to die because of HIV, and he even quit basketball because of it and lived in fear. But look at him now. He 's still alive and still has HIV. The reason people hid from Magic was that they were told one thing, that at the time they didn 't know if it was true or not.
Some other negative impacts of air pollution on the residents of southern California include a variety of temporary symptoms such as difficulty breathing, headaches, runny noses, and itchy eyes, as well as the development of more severe and chronic ailments such as heart disease and asthma. Asthma is one of the most prominent health issues that air pollution incites within the human body. It is highly probable that Asthma is a direct result of air pollution, although absolute evidence has not as of yet been provided to support this idea. More substantial evidence has, however, expressed the magnification of asthma that air pollution initiates within those that are already afflicted with the disease.

It is possible for the negative impacts of air pollution to spread throughout the entire body, damaging a variety of organs and body parts, while diminishing the body’s ability to effectively function. The fine pollutant particulates,
The findings from this research have led me to be certain of the importance of how by just merely looking into a subject from the origin of it can make us understand the true cause of the problem. Often people believe in one thing because it was told to them as a child like “ you are just like your parents who also have asthma.” However, after examining the different triggers of asthma it is with more certainty that I believe the borough of the Bronx has to advocate for its community and the area in they live in. Without change the Bronx’s pollution will continue to affect the people and the hospitalizations will continue to be the highest in all the boroughs.
Pet fur, urine, saliva, and dander may bother people with asthma or allergies, and can cause allergies or asthma. Change out your old light bulbs with fluorescent lights. They use a lot less energy, are better for the environment, and will have a longer lifetime. Check all smoke detectors once a month, and be sure to replace the batteries, and eventually, the alarm itself. Lastly, keeping your house clean can greatly reduce asthma and breathing problems.

There are many problems that threatens society and one problem in particular, air pollution is a problem that threatens everyone.
