The new R8’s looks is a progression of the spectacular first-generation model. Bodywork follows Audi’s crisp understanding of Bauhaus principles, with a single-frame grille encouraged by the Auto Union Grand Prix cars of early 1930s. It has the low-slung stance of a supercar, with the cab hard-pressed forward and the coupe body slanted back in a streamlining arch to the rear spoiler.
