As the fond memories of camp started to come back to me, I flipped through the pages, and came across something I didn’t expect to see, “Become a CIT! Malouf incorporates raw emotions, grief and loss characters are united by the aspect of mortality; enabling them to challenge their previous roles and expectations.
Advancing technology is one of the most important factors leading to police officers, among other types of law enforcement, being able to more quickly, and safely, apprehend a criminal. One of these technologies is that of the Automatic License Plate Recognition system, otherwise referred to as the ALPR. According to Inspector Norm Gaumont and Constable Dave Babineau “ALPR was developed in 1992 at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom in response to terrorism… The United Kingdom continues to lead the way when it comes to the use of ALPR technology”. The Automatic License Plate Recognition system operates through two cameras which can be mounted on police cars, vans, stoplights or other stationary objects.

Station Eleven is a story filled with many different plotlines and backstories, all intricately woven together to paint a fascinating image of life after the Georgia Flu pandemic. Many of the characters enter both as background members in some scenes and as main characters in others, so that their stories flow smoothly with the others. Two characters that this can be applied to are Tyler, Arthur’s son, and Kirsten, a child actor turned into a performer with a travelling groupe after the near-extinction of the human race. They both grew and developed out of this tragedy, being
Favorite line 207:We are not free to follow our own devices, you and I-This quote is very relevant to our world today. People feel limited by the government, limited by society, and limited by adults. Dickens goes so far as to make a statement that Estella and Pip are just pawns in Miss Havisham’s game. Their lives aren’t about choices, they are about what they are supposed to do next. This seems like a pretty miserable way to live.
