One of the strongest points in Avatar specially in the fight scenes as all the creatures and characters are active in those scenes, are the cg figures. In the article “Religions: The Basics” by Malory Nye talks about female writers, inequality and the distinction between males and females. In the article it mentioned how the term Androcentricism assumes that the male’s perspective and experiences are the most vital and key point of reference. I agree with Mary Daly that the concept of belief in a male deity leads to profound sexual inequalities. The reason I agree with Mary Daly is due to the fact there is a lot of gender differences and that women are viewed as inferior, while men are more superior. It is surprising that in western culture, they can’t go a day without woman-male distinction.

This area they inhabited is now called, the United States. In this time of great change, the colonists had to completely formulate a new government. Since one of the major motives for breaking off of Britain was for freedom of religion, it ended up becoming a good base for the building up of a new government. Religion gave many advantages to the growth of government through unifying the people, establishing power, and constructing order.

Religion has the power to positively or negatively affect a civilization, depending on how it is practiced. Religion can often unify people because everyone agrees on a higher power, but it can also cause conflict when people all believe that their religion is the only “correct” one. Ancient civilizations, such as the Islamic and Mauryan Empires have been impacted by religion. Religion also impacts different regions today, especially Iran.
Believe it or not, religion, which is “the service and worship of God or the supernatural” (Webster) is far more common than the average Joe notices on the surface. A large amount of people wouldn’t see religious aspects in their everyday life except for those they practice and even then, most are limited to a single day if even that. With the proper lens it is possible to gaze deeper into everyday occurrences and see factors such as subliminal meanings and blatant themes that have religious values to accompanying them. This theme of religion in popular culture can be seen popular aspects of everyday life. Many religious institutions see media within popular culture as an avenue to communicate to the mass their message and/or vision.

This interpersonal conflict created a negative toll on the two characters and because they lacked the “strategies for managing conflict,” they ended up fighting in the “Pandoran War.” Another example of interpersonal conflict found within the film was when Jake Sully had to tell the Omaticaya clan and the girl he fell in love with, he was initially only there to infiltrate their clan and report to the corporals. Thus, they knew he was aware of the destruction that was coming to their home and the fact he betrayed their trust; he was then bounded by the Omaticaya clan and told he “[would] never be one of the People.” Thankfully, after proper conflict management, he was able to regain the Omaticaya clan’s trust and help aid in the Pandroan war against the
