The bank robbery case was suspicious when the F.B.I. started to fingerprint and took photographs of Assata in the same clothing as the bank robbers and at the same angle. Nicole Aldana FHS 215 Karrie Walters October 28, 2015 Site Report: Boys and Girls Club The human service organization I chose for this assignment was the Boys and Girls Club of Emerald Valley. While there were a number of equally amazing organizations on the list, it really came down to my personal experience with this institute. During my senior year of high school, I made it a goal to partake in as many community service opportunities as I could. Coming from a big city, there was no shortage of these and after a few months of searching it led me to the Boys and Girls Club and a few other non-profits.
The current state of the automotive industry is one of shrinking margins, changing consumer expectations and demands, as well as pressure from the government to increase fuel efficiency. There is increased competition in the American market as foreign companies challenge the “Big Two” automotive manufacturers. Costs increase while the price for their products has remained stagnant. One way that manufacturers have managed to stay profitable is actively working to decrease costs while needing to keep the selling price the same in order to be competitive. The organization I chose to observe, and interview three people at is called Shorty’s Lunch, my family’s business. It is a small restaurant located in Washington, PA that has been around for over eighty years. The people I chose to observe, and interview were; Steve the owner, Leslie the head waitress, and John the general manager. Steve the owner of the restaurant has worked there since he was around sixteen years old.
