1 Background: what is BIM (Building information modelling)?
1.1 What is BIM
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one of most promising new technology in the construction industry. Accurate virtual models of buildings and other civil constructions, such as tunnel, highways are constructed digitally.
In US, The National Building Information Model Standard Project Committee defines BIM define BIM as
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility. A BIM is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle; defined as existing from earliest conception to demolition.
A basic premise of BIM is collaboration

Maybe BIM and parameter design seem as a new technology invented in recent 15 years. But the parameter design have a long history before the 2-D drawing design method. In the ancient Greek and Roman era, there were no pencil, rubber or descripted geometer drawing technique. The ancient architects designed their tempers and palace by make a small model, and label every components of the model with identification number, geometer parameters and other important information. In construction stage, the worker will also labelled each part of the building and install it in correct position and consequence.
1.2 Some potential benefit could offer to users.
To the owners and facility managers:
1. Increase building value by BIM-based energy analysis to improve building performance. Such as saving energy by reduce heating

Automatic and accurate preparation of bill-of-material, cost and scheduling application, improved support for analysis the whole design process in 3d improve coordination and design review which lead to more accurate and faster design drawing
4. Enhance value engineering if necessary.
To the contractors, as the main contractor bear the duty to instruct subcontractor in site and from time to time, the main contractor need to draw their own shop-drawing, main contractor can also share some benefits in design area.
1. BIM is useful in coordinating a project and resolving design issues. For example, general contractors and subconsultants use BIM to see exactly how plumbing and mechanical systems are routed through a building that is under construction.
2. General contractors can put their construction schedules into the model to see a project's progress and make changes, if necessary. This functionality helps the general contractor phase a project by determining more accurately when to, for example, open a section of a remodeled building or close a corridor to allow work to proceed.
3. Site report to clients by having a virtual presentation of the project available on a laptop, the general contractor can share BIM information with the project's owner and make any necessary changes on the
1. Planning Before you want to jump right into planning, you want to meet with your client to talk about the project, you want to obtain certain information so that it can help you learn more about the project and whether or not the project should go ahead. Once you accept doing this project, you want to make sure that the client knows the requirements you’re looking for and whether they will meet your standard. For example, your payment estimates for future stages of the project.
2. Estimating and budgeting is made easier. Before you start drawing a plan you are required to input types of materials you will be using, types of nails, and County Building Codes. This allows Chief Architect to track how much material is needed, what type of material, how many nails, how much drywall, insulation, and much more. This feature alone will have our company thousands of dollars.
4. What does the client want the site visitors to do? (call(s) to action)
Thus, the Bureau of Military Information was created. The BMI was an operational level intelligence unit (Ibid), similar to our modern day Analysis Control Element, or ACE. The BMI conducted analysis on all sources of information then compiled that data into a single assessment for the
Toilet paper and school), taking shorter showers to conserve water, and using less electricity. If continuing with less paper products it would be helpful because you would save money on buying paper towels and you would potentially have less trash. On the downside you would not be able to eat out as much and in the beginning you would have to invest in a lot of tupperware. When you take shorter showers you be conserving water for the environment but you might have to take colder showers then you are used to. Lastly when you use less electricity your power bill will go way down but the downfall is that you might have to invest in some expensive light bulbs and have to remember to unplug things when they are not being used.
Greek Ptolemy (A.D. 100-170) established basic principles of mapmaking and also made dozens of maps, which where not improved upon for thousands of years. 5. By the seventeenth century, maps depicted accurate positions of continents and the positions of oceans. ii.
These could range from education to becoming more Earth friendly. We can reform education in many ways. We can first start off children with more difficult curriculum in lower grades to get them more prepared for harder and more important subjects. Another way to reform in the classroom is to provide better teachers who will ensure that every student will learn what they are supposed to. We can be more Earth friendly by making more houses use solar power.
Address any variances in budget reporting from previous reporting period. Include: (1) Estimated Total Project Budget, (2) Estimated Construction Budget, and (3) Dollars Expended to Date. If there is a Financing Agreement for this project, provide an update. If none, indicate that. Section 5 – Project Scope and/or Quality Items Indicate any adjustments or considerations that impact or change the project scope or quality (such as pending change orders, standards waivers, etc.)
As an asset, the BCM uses a baseline and measurements to evaluate the effectiveness of the behavioral changes. The model measures how the organization was performing before the consultation, several times during the consultation, and at the end of the consultation process. The BCM is a problem-solving consultation process based on changing behavior. It is a model that uses a consultation process
It is a BIM tool that is capable of generating high quality, precise architectural designs. It is used by many professionals to reduce risk and improve project delivery. Revit is primarily used for designing the 3D model of buildings to be studied. It is a software that integrates conceptual modeling with whole building energy analysis, and allows developers to make important decisions in phases of projects. Ultimately, Revit is used to streamline the engineering design process by using a single model to enhance the communication of design intent before construction begins.
As a start, the building types are many as the private houses, baths, as well as temples and theatres and these are our points; Firstly in temples, Greeks’ structures were invented to be the home of gods called Parthenon having an obsolete religion. As inside these sanctuaries they didn’t have spots of meeting, but obeying the penances and aimed to custom an individual god in them. These temples anyways were sometimes used to be storage of votive offerings. Subsequently, they are very unique in there style and very essential modeling construction. For examples, the palace of Knossos, and Athens acropolis.
Introduction In today’s world, most developing countries are in a race to build up the necessary infrastructure to scale up there operations and become the next global superpower. In this process, a lot of energy is consumed – be it for transportation, manufacturing or construction. This rapid growth of energy use seen over the past two decades have raised concerns for governments and energy-related organizations alike. Questions with regard to the supply, sustainability and exhaustion of energy sources abound, and while most developed countries have taken active steps to reduce consumption of scarce resources, the position of developing countries in this regard is still lacking.
More than any architectural style, however, the Bauhaus promoted principles of creative collaboration—planning, designing, drafting, and construction are equally important when buildings constructed. (Craven,
Digital architecture involves the use of computer modelling, programming, simulation and imaging to create both virtual forms and physical structures. The ways in which architecture is formed, created, presented, and marketed is transforming – in relation to the transition to a digital society. Digital architecture allows complex calculations that delimit architects and allow a diverse range of complex forms to be created with great ease using computer algorithms. Architecture created digitally might not involve the use of actual materials (brick, stone, glass, steel, wood).
When we talk about architecture as a professional activity we do recognise the contribution of different people in the designing process and successful completion of a project. But out of all the relationships among the professionals, a successful Architect –Client relationship plays the most crucial part. Assuming that this relationship can be structured, the researchers have been developing models for a systematic strategy to address the problems and gaps in management of this relationship. In this research, I want to acknowledge the psychological and sociological perspective of this relationship and enhance our understanding of the problems of this relationship.
