Moreover, quantitative data about the research variables would also be included in this study, which will be analysed using the quantitative research methods. The research strategy selected for the study is mix methods, which refer to the procedure whereby quantitative and qualitative research methods along with the techniques to identify the limitations determined by each method. This strategy is a significant feature of triangulation method, which demonstrates the use of more than two methods to check the results against each method implemented for providing reliable results (Kothari, 2008; Bergh & Ketchen, 2009). 3.3 Research Philosophy The selected research philosophy for the study include interpretivist, which provides that there…show more content…
literature review and case study results and findings. In the literature review part, only theoretical framework of the research is discussed i.e. examining the theories linked with the research objectives and questions of this study. On the other hand, real life context experienced by construction organisation UK in implementing its BIM project management approach would be analysed in survey to suggest new BIM project management strategies that can be used by the construction companies for the purpose of reinventing itself in the market. In addressing the propositions and context of the case study, it becomes necessary for the researcher to ascertain that there is no deviation in findings in relation to the set research questions of the study. Data analysis is this study would be promoted using mixed research approach. Collection and comparison of qualitative as well as quantitative data would be carried out based on thematic analysis. It will also reflect on the data credibility by crosschecking the findings of different studies. Themes will be made according to the research objectives and the findings collected from the case study would be crosschecked against the literature reviewed. In order to process any quantitative information, MS Excel graphs will be used for the accomplishment of the numerical results. These cross-referenced research findings will be valid enough to generalise it on the larger population. Qualitative analysis transforms theories in a form of statements and concepts focusing on interpretations. The qualitative analysis for the study is consisting of discussion of secondary data and results obtained from the interviews and survey questionnaire (Brecher & Harvey, 2002; Weber, Shils, Finch, Antonio, & Sica, 2011; Bergh & Ketchen, 2009; Krishnaswamy, Sivakumar, & Mathirajan,
