George Herman ''Babe'' Ruth Jr. Was a professional baseball player whose career in major league baseball spanned 22 seasons, from 1914 through 1935. Babe played his first major league game on July 11, 1914. Babe Ruth was an outstanding baseball player. One of his sayings were ''I swing with everything I got, I hit big and I miss big. I like to live as big as I can- Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth is without a doubt the most famous character ever produced by the sport of baseball. A legendary world famous for his hitting prowless he transcended the sport to enter the mainstream of American life as an authentic folk hero. Babe Ruth was really young when he first got signed to play professional baseball he was at the age of nineteen. Tons of people all over the world asked why babe their was all kinds of questions like is it because he is so young when he signed to play professional baseball. Babe was required to have legal guardianship and was then adopted by one of the monks. Other people across the united states of America say it was just because he was merely a babe. Babe Ruth played for three different teams when he played baseball. Babe was an outstanding player and a good team mate and strived to make his team better because when babe was apart of his baseball team the team highly excelled at the game of baseball because when Babe Ruth played the great game of baseball he has over four world series championship wins under his belt. One time durning a game Babe was knocked out cold at griffen stadium playing in the state of virgina washington D.C. He got knocked out unconscious because he was running full speed and then he suddenly ran in to a solid concreate wall when he was trying to catch a foul ball. Babe Ruth had one of the best possible farewell games in baseball history because on that day he had hit a amazing three home runs in a single game. Babe then retired literally the next week.
