I am writing you for an assignment on behalf of an issue I think needs to be addressed; Whooping Cough, also known as Pertussis. This issue is important and needs attention because many kids and babies die from whooping cough each year. If parents don’t get their children vaccinated they could get whooping cough and get very sick or pass it on to other children who could get sick. If small children or infants get whooping cough they could die because they don’t have as strong immune systems; same with elderly people. I care about this because it is very sad to see kids die and the percentage of deaths per year could rise.

Then there is the issue of factoring in children if a homeless man or women has one or several. When children are placed in an unstable environment, it causes many health issues with that child because it has to undergo a large amount of stress. Due to the instability of homelessness, it causes many individuals to face a series of harsh and reckless realities that some are not able to undertake in a healthy manner. Children are the most unstable when they are taken from their homes and put either into the shelters available or living on
1)"We focus so much on our differences, and that is creating, I think a lot of chaos and negativity and bullying in the world. And I think if everyone focused on what we all have in common - which is - we all want to be happy." - Ellen DeGeneres . Ellen 's quote about bullying came about due to the overwhelming increase in teen suicide in the past three years and society has not been diligent about fixing the situation. One of the major issues that has caused this increase is that as a society we are engaged with other things that are not as relevant to what is going on.
With an anorexic’s body weight already anything could kill them. New findings came to be that millions of men and women in the United States suffer from an eating disorder. And therefore anorexics are so used to the pain they go through that they are fearless of death and try anything to end their lives. Kingsbury believes that loved ones or relatives of anorexics need to be aware that some kind of mental help is necessary for these sick people. Cost for the help with anorexics is determined on insurance and what you can and can’t afford to help that individual.

A large majority of patients have experienced that others do not want to touch them (Gupta & Gupta, 1998). Stigmatization influences the quality of life of vitiligo patients significantly (Finlay & Khan, 1994). Marijuana has been proven to damage the layers of cells that line the inside of the lungs, which is why smoking marijuana causes coughing and wheezing. Similarly, another research found that “PPD affects approximately 10%-15% of women and impairs mother-infant interactions that in turn are important for child development; depressed mothers often display less attachment, sensitivity and harsher or disrupted parenting behaviors.” (Brummelte & Galea, 2015, p. 153).
