Feasibility Study Project Proposal Three-Storey Mixed-use Building in Barangay Tabangao Ambulong, Batangas City Introduction Designing, owning, or managing a mixed-use facility- especially considering the slowing economy and an ever-growing concern about the environment- means there’s an opportunity for multiple challenges, but also opens the door to multiple opportunities. Mixed-use building reduced distances between housing, workplace, retail businesses, other amenities and destinations. Vertically mixed-use facilities are beneficial because they reduce long-term maintenance costs of individual buildings. They not only conserve valuable land resources but also brighten communities and present opportunities for building efficiency, energy efficiency and sustainability. Its benefits are walkable, bike-able neighbourhoods; increased accessibility via transit, both resulting in reduced transport costs.

[All I know, that cemetery was built a long time ago, in 18th century, and it was built by the order of the Spanish friars that had brought Christianity here in Janiuay to construct a cemetery there. And if viewed, from that time up to now, you can say that that cemetery is still there but is gradually getting deteriorated. Because its structure, you can see that the post near the end of it is not connected to (the walls of the cemetery) anymore. It is scary since every day, I pass by there and look at it – to find some problems because it seems like it is not given any importance by the local government of Janiuay. So, there is none.
This issue will also be tackled later on for people who have a different social class than I do. To obtain the documents stated above, I went to our barangay which was just a walking distance away from my house since it was once a subdivision that turned into a barangay. Since residents of our barangay (formerly a subdivision) were the only ones who can apply for the barangay clearance, there were no queues or any documents needed to be submitted. Obtaining a barangay clearance was actually inconvenient as said by other people I met because they were told to photocopy different documents like cedula or their recent community tax certificate, but I did not need to go through that. When I entered the barangay

I loved how people live in there, how menfolk gather woods into big bundles to be sold in the big city, how gaily dressed women, sturdy and full of life, harvesting gabi and camote on the hillsides, putting them in big baskets which they carried on their backs as they went down the trails, and how the children use the green grass as their play area. My dreams, too, had been born in Abucay. I would build my house there- the strongest and the biggest house in Abucay-
This section is to serve two purposes: to set the theoretical basis for the study into perspective by making a comparative analysis of the various views on this subject matter in order to determine the extent of the gap in theory and application. The reviews concentrated in the following areas; theoretical framework, review of relevant Literature and review of related empirical studies. 2.1 Theoretical Framework Various models and theories have been developed empirically to analyze the role of social media in creating environmental awareness. Some of these theories are reviewed below. Two key theories formed the foundation for this study.
