The book is about Ehrenreich herself doing a three month, experiment project. Ehrenreich is challenging herself to survive, three months on minimum wage. But, Ehrenreich includes rules and limits for her experiment. Although one of her limits state that she will always have a car is unfair , overall , her rules plus limits are part useful.
