Have you felt anxious to play a game that felt very important to you? ,or having that burning feeling that you want a big win or a great shot this is how I felt before a basketball game.
Basketball
I woke up on a cold February day at nine-o'clock it came quick I woke up and scrambled into my clothes fast. My dad made me a ewwy gooey egg omelet , delicious I told my dad thank you. My dad said load up so I grabbed my ball bag threw a gatorade in their put on crappy shoes (so my basketball shoes didn't get torn up) we were off to small town Cameron Missouri. While we were driving me and my dad went over basketball plays and situations “So I was game ready my dad said.” When we got there we headed in the small

This is story of me getting lizard Steve.
MY LIZARD
As I walked into the store the animals were chirping hissing barking whatever sound you name it , it was in there. My dad and I went to the reptile section in hope of getting a Leopard Gecko we asked the store employee if we could get some assistance of helping us get the perfect pet. she Opened up the aquarium and pulled out a brightly colored adult male I decided not him because I wanted to see the lizard grow up. next was a adult female which got to excited and decided to take a wiz on the employee and she was definitely not the one for me! Finally a diamond in the rough Steve as I know a vibrant baby Lizard i knew he was mine I said he is mine. The employee said there was one circumstance, the lizard was so young they did not know if it was a boy or a girl it was a risky move but I took him ….. or her. when I got home I told everyone the news my mom said
“what will the lizards name be if it is a girl?” I responded it will be Stephane. Steve\Stephane is the perfect pet for me.
That was the time I found a diamond in the rough, the perfect pet for me
“Why can’t we get into our freaking offense!?” This is all I really remember from Coach McKendrick at halftime last year against Niles North in what was a tough night for our basketball team. Prior to this, we beat New Trier at home and then went on the road and beat the pre-season unanimous vote to win conference, Highland Park, in our first conference game. Before the New Trier game, our game plan was simple: we were smaller, but faster, so we were going to run the court and make this is a fast pace game. We executed our gameplan, and we won.
Everything is Earned My eyes intensively scanned the computer screen, looking for my name on the roster. I checked, then doubled checked, then triple checked… it wasn’t there. A wave of sadness and frustration overtook me, and I began to cry. I was cut from the team.
Breath was rushing out the kid who wore a Gray and blue uniform, the boy 's hair was black and poked straight up in twisted curls, he had brown eyes that looked like dirt, he was strong and athletic, his name was D’haquille Jones, and I was DhaQuille Jones, staring down at the newly glazed floorboards of John Pickett high school gym. The ref blew the whistle signaling that our time out was over, and all we had was thirteen precious seconds to beat the Valencia high. I jogged onto the court, adrenaline rushing through my body. The ref tossed the ball towards Chris, once he had found the open man he lobbed it over the oncoming defender. Calling for the ball I sprinted around my defender to get open.
My dad and I went to the pet store and searched for the reptiles. We found the area that had the leopard geckos, which were the kind I wanted. They were all babies and so cute. I picked one of them that was looking for crickets to eat. We brought him home.
When I walked into petco, my heart was pounding,I couldn’t believe I was actually going to get a ferret! My mom and me had made a deal. If I could keep my room clean for a month I could a pet!Though I wanted a rat,but my mom hates rats,we compromised for a ferret! Anyways as I walked over to the aquarium looking ferret cage,my nose was hit with a musty scent.
Next day, I pulled up at the Smith Park with my ball and the same NBA jersey. I met a 6’11 person. He offered me to be my coach and he will teach about the games, earnestness, and determination toward basketball forasmuch his son had passed away in the winter at my age and the attachment to his son. Therefore, he wanted to convey Germile 's passion with basketball by enlightening me because he lost the chance to train his son. After then, every morning even It 's dark and the snow is still falling, clumps of wet flakes drifting endlessly down, the air moist, the sidewalk mushy underfoot.
I believe essay I believed that my basketball team would make it to the championship. We undefeated for two seasons in a row. The players wouldent of been able to win if it wasnt for our coaches. The stallions have been dominating all season.
Last summer I went on vacation to Puerto Rico with my cousins. We did really fun things like snorkeling, a boat ride, and eating at many wonderful places. Although all those sound really fun, I want to talk about the time I met the most cutest, most fluffiest, most friendliest, animal ever. It all started off on a breezy summer night while my cousins and family were chillin’ at our hotel pool.
I've learned that you should never give up, and always try your best. My story started this year. I had just tried out for a competitive basketball league and I was very anxious because I didn't know what to expect at tryouts and what to expect if I made the team. I was scared I was going to mess or do something incorrect. I'd been playing basketball since the 2nd grade, so I was an experienced player.
We all asked if we could get him but he said no then we kept on pleading and pleading then he said ok fine we can get him. This was the best father's day I had ever had. After we bought him we had to think of a name everyone was throwing out ideas then finally it came to me his name should be george it was perfect. I yelled it out my family said that's perfect his name is george. He was so soft but sometimes his cold wet nose would touch my skin and tickle me.
Four summers ago, my father bought me a freestanding basketball hoop. The pole was black and the backboard was plexiglass blue and white. After a few hours it was fully built and ready to be played on. So I went into the garage and grabbed a basketball, the basketball was red and had stripes of blue going through it. The first shot to ever be taken on the court was a Bankshot mid-range.
Today, was tiring. I did all my practicing so that I just have to rest and get ready for tomorrow 's game. I get ready for my game by putting on my uniform. The game is starting and the whole crowd is cheering for
My uncle told us, “You guys need to go and practice.” With our cocky attitude we said, “We don’t need practice. We are already shooting in the 30s. We will be fine.”
Fourth quarter of the final game came. Our team was losing by two and there were around fourteen seconds remaining. I don’t know what the coach thought of but he decided to put me in when he had so many other options. The coach told me to stay in the three point line in order to shoot if I can. The game resumed, I went from corner to corner waiting for the ball.
the vet said reassuringly as she brought out a big long haired male black lab. My parents were taken aback, it was the complete opposite dog that they had wanted and they didn 't know how to respond. That was until he ran over and started licking and jumping on them in excitement. Right then and there our family knew our new addition would be just right.
